It's not actually quite that bad. Mech, the main problem is that it is a flat roof. As they are so hard to patch up successfully I have decided to have the whole covering ripped off and replaced. I also don't know when it was last done so I thought I might as well be safe.

I've made parts for Marconi in the past, years ago when I worked in a CNC room which made PCB's. I think, but I'm not entirley sure, they were very thin boards which were part of the aerial assy.
Anyhoo, my roof isn't that bad but I've got a couple of ridge tiles missing and and I'd say 75% of the houses in my road have had thier roof re-tiled which tells me I've gotta get it done before I have a major problem with it. I used to share a flat with a roofer though so he's already given me a cheap quote cus I'll save money by helping him myself.
