yeah, thats just a weak excuse made up by failed parents who cant take responsibility for allowing their kids to become f**kups. certainly a theory born out of my home, america, where many parents cant seem to take the blame for anything. their kids turn to murderers, lets blame video games. sonny boy rapes a girl, lets blame those damn misogynistic rap videos...UH OH, our golden child is shooting up heroine!!! lets blame a PLANT!!! and lets blame tommy chong for selling him the bong and send him to prison...

...but lets not blame god for creating the plant that supposedly started this whole mess.

no way is pot a "gateway drug". its up to the individual just how they will get high, not a freaking weed growing out of the ground. the smoking of pot is a SYMPTOM and not the cause. the CAUSE of a kid turning into a junkie/cokehead/speedfreak etc. is a lack of love for life, and a need to fill voids (and other various reasons depending on the person im sure)

so the point is...ANY drug can be labled a gateway drug, just as AC stated. it could be drinking alcohol, or sniffing model glue...whatever.

so why is pot labled as the demon drug and not alcohol(poison) or cigarettes(poison)?

and before anyone lays the bullshit story on us about how smoking a joint is far more damaging than a cigarette, let us keep in mind that pot is very effective when cooked with butter and eaten in a wide variety of tasty recipes.

It doesn't make you sound like a prat if you don't deal in any drug. I believe if you use the right ones in the right way, they'll do more good than harm.

That's not taking into account the fact that the human race lack rationality and any sense of positive vulnerability. So drugs (bearing in mind that Pot and Shrooms are natural) will never be looked upon as a "good" thing. Just in some cases a marketable thing.

If the Government found a way to take the ability to grow pot and gain shrooms for free, from the people of Earth, it would be legalised tomorrow. The fact that anyone can get and grow those things is the reason why they're bad.

you forgot the influence of industries such as alcohol and paper.

paper in particular, as a single acre of hemp can produce as much paper as six acres of trees on average, not to mention that the single acre is almost instantly repleanished, whereas trees take decades to grow.

😂 Speed, IMHO, is a feminine drug. In my experience the males I've known have always reaped far worse ensuing effects than the lasses. I used to be able to take gram after gram, and fly higher and higher, yet the next day, or three days later generally, I was fine after a day's sleep. With pills or shrooms I felt like I was dying, I was a real sick pup for a day at least 😬

i had a few experiances with drugz.

i tried heroin when i was 14.

but the thing is heroin is very addicting. if it wasnt for my cousin i'd be laying in a casket right now

Yah.... I only ever tried Salvia, I had no idea it was a form of heroin and I smoked it in a bong with pot.... I passed out for about three hours apparently.

I don't think weed is a gateway drug either. My dad was a pothead for years and he never got sucked into doing more serious drugs. Some member of my family still are. The majority of potheads I know don't do anything else. All signs just seem to be pointing to the fact that weed isn't the gateway drug people say it is.

I think you should read it again, he was making the connection between the nicotine still present in spliffs, depending on how you build them.... obviously blunts are different, just paper and weed. Therefore, spliffs can still be dangerous, more so than cigarettes because of the nicotine, tar, carbon monoxide and brain-cell mutilating greenery smartass
