Wiccanism as a religion [Merged]

SpellJammer's mother is Wiccan and he can tell you for a fact Wicca is not evil.. and that's the problem! >: \

Wicca is this candyland religon where everyone watches thier karma. And it's full of sunshine and lollypops as people dedicate holidays to The God/Godess and love nature, and plant flowers, and spread good cheer. Hooby bloo bloo..

That's why SpellJammer prefers druidism. The druids were selfish, had thier own priorities, understood the value of life, and death.. And were willing to make pacts with the barbaric crusaders for thier own reasons to rid the land of witches.. Though Ceaser ended up spreading a vicous rumor they were sacrificing humans and they too were slaughterd, but the druids rarely sacrificed men. Goats did just as well using thier blood for scrying..

That's why SpellJammer wears a quitretra. It means what you want it to mean.

If you're a sunshine lollypop witch, it means The Mother, The Maiden, and The Crone.
If you're a Christian it means The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit.
If you're some new-age shaman, it means the cycles of the Earth. Earth, Sea, and Air.

But ultimately, it was the most common sign used by celtic knights. A darker period intime.. For a very dark person..

im a wiccan. my best friends a neo-pagan, and both are pretty much the same, with slight differences like catholism and methodism. They have the same basis although the ideas arent identicle.

OMG!! It bugs me so much when ppl say that if your wiccan your evil, I am wiccan and I'M NOT EVIL!!! Witchcraft is not a bad thing, its just connecting with nature and and your innerself, we meditate, and do rituals, we have hollidays, and other stuff, we use candles and some ppl think that we make sacrafices, we dont slit our arm or something to give it to the goddesses and gods, we just talk to them and get help from them in our time of need, its actualy a really cool thing, if you haven't looked into it before, then you definatly should so that you understand it better.

(I feel really alkward saying all of this, I looked arround for a little bit and most of you guys look older than me, I'm only 13 years old, AND STILL COUNTING!!)

There is no such thing as black magic or an evil witch, black macig is just another word for bad magic which is done by the person and the way that that one person uses their magic. Also there is no such thing as an evil witch, if you do bad/black/dark magic then you will get hit back 3x as powerful, because of the rule of 3, any energy that you send out will come back to you 3x as powerful, good or bad energy.

And yes, you are right on everything you've said about Wicca...even the 3x back for energies...That's taught in other beliefs also.... from what I've read.

The words "wicca", "wicce" and "witch" all have the same basic origins. But, through the ages, these words developed different meanings and now, signify different paths.
Wicca is a religion whereas Witchcraft is a practice. The practice of witchcraft is not associated with any religion, therefore you can be a witch and yet also be a member of any number of religions. Not all Witches are Wiccan, nor are all Wiccans Witches.

OH...guess we do have some kind of wicca smiley..sorcerer

And yes people associate wicca with stories, fables and movies....I also think there are different branches of what wiccians believe, just as they do certain practices or believes....Some use candles in ceremonies, are only into nature and the elemental powers...Some use other forces as well...It's not eye of neut and eye of frog thing......In history it was they who know much about herbs roots and healing from the earth...Wiccans, I believe are earthy people...using the properties of earth, wind, fire, and air.....Well Shamans were sort of like this also.....Also Native American Indians....

It is a universal based religion, believing in the seen and unseen forces in all nature here on earth and in the greater universe. It is a religion of honor and respect for all living things.
