“all of this has happened before and all of it will happen again”. Well theres only 2 episodes left and Im thinking Galagtica its gonna go down, maybe with everyone in it and then everyone including Galactica will come back to life much like Starbuck did.
Watching tonights episode, it came to me , the singularity. Thats how the cycle will start anew. During the final battle, they'll all get sucked in the singularity and the cycle will begin again. Something along those lines, imo.

I just hope the ending lives up to our expectations. Ill miss the show somewhat but will be happy that it finished and it wasnt canceled.

It will be remembered with honour alongside the truely great shows of all time.Like Babylon 5.
babylon 5 was good show
I hear you, I expected the action to have been underway already by the end of it.
It was just set-up, set-up, set-up all the way, wasnt it...?
Well hopefully now it'll just rock its ass off all the way.
I pray that Moore doesnt decide to emulate the sopranos ending that he praised. He expressed deep admiration at the size of the balls of the writers, and liked the idea that the whole series kinda drifted in and out of a timespan in the character's lives and let them go on after it etc.
I want resolution.
I have a feeling that we are meant to see that as part 1 of he finale.
If so, the flashbacks' relevance may be revealed over the course of next final two parts this week.
Galactica has kinda lost it.
The mutiny plot was one of the most godawful bad ones they have ever done- sudden random changes of characterisation, a flat out repeat of earlier plotlines, and a total waste of time reset-switched plot, the genuine apparent consequences of which were forgotten immediately.
Since then, better, but it is meandering slowly at a time where it should be gearing up and up and up. You could have told the same story better in half the episodes.
Sopranos lost focus from the middle onwards and you may not have liked the literal ending moment, but at least the final half-season did a proper job of pacing. The feel of threat there was intense.
Galactica will, I feel, be forever remembered for its utterly awesome first series more than anything else.
I dont think 2 hours will be enough to tie all loose ends. I think resolving Starbucks loose ends will take more than that and even if they do, I dont think there will be any time left to tie Hera's, Earth plus whatever other loose end are left. Im very intrigued as to what the deal with Starbuck is.
I know what you mean, Ush.
I personally enjoyed the Mutiny but otherwise agree. I thought the word was that the writer's strike gave 'em time to rework things for the better, but the last half and a half better kick some ass and cover some impressive ground, lest you be utterly right in you assessments of series' Post-New-Caprican quality.
I suspect that we might be left to get a bunch of answers in "Caprica" or the planned BSG TV movies.
If so, while I'll be grateful for the answers, I'll have to be joining you in a little dismay at the unsmooth gradient the last few weeks have left us with.

*Prepares the rolling mat and kettle/tea bags.*Gonna rewatch last week's too, to get all up in the plotline's ass again.
How many times will Adama say the phrase "Do your jobbbbbbbbbbbbb" tonight before the close..?
And how many here think Galactica herself will make it...?
Its not looking too good for Galactica. Hopefully she'll be reborn somehow.
