Battlestar Galactica

I was thinking about this today: What if there is

Spoiler:
one more Cylon? My reasoning is that there are 12 Cylon models, and there are 12 colonies of mankind. Now, there is a 13th hidden colony, so maybe there is a 13th hidden Cylon. This would be Starbuck. Theres just no way she can't be since a) she exploded b) her ship was found destroyed on Earth and c) she just appeared out of nowhere in a brand new ship. Also, her destiny about destroying everyone or something, makes sense if she is the final gear in the plot
So while we are all caught up with
Spoiler:
Ellen
, which makes no sense at all, the producers pull a fast one on us by throwing in another.

i honestly had the same thought. if you watch razor (and that's just one example), the hybrid says that

Spoiler:
kara thrace would be the end of mankind
, so its possible it meant that
Spoiler:
she'd be the final one

btw, i thought only

Spoiler:
four had been named, not five?

tyrol, anders, tigh and that secretary chick? who am i missing?

the fifth is

Ellen Tigh

I think something is gonna happen with the

Spoiler:
FTL drive and the galactica goes back in time. The Galacticans would then genetically pass down the memories through their descendants to themselves. Hence the recollections on the beach. And Starbuck finding her future self's old dead corpse on the Earth's surface.

All theory, but Im going with it, rightly or wrongly.

It's very possible that she isn't one. I mean, of course the writers are going to do their best to toy with the idea that she is a Cylon but i think that is simply a well calculated act of subterfuge ,on the writers part, to keep us guessing. It would be to obvious. Also, The final five aren't connected to the resurrection ships, are they? If she were indeed one, she would have found out during her resurrection. Lastly, i'm agreeing with Sadako. I think time travel is going to be a future revelation in this season. Her ship also hints at another answer other than simply being able to return because she is a Cylon.

The final five probably have their own resurrection point otherwise the rest of the Cylons would know who they were. Also since they are special Cylons they probably lose their memory when they resurrect, since all of them died on Earth, otherwise they would have already known they were Cylons. I'm interested in what they do with

Spoiler:
Ellen
since she was the only one who seemed to know she was a Cylon, so maybe she's a 'special' one.

See, if the Fleet somehow, unkowingly, traveled into the future that would explain the final four's flashbacks of their life on Earth. The flashbacks wouldn't be flashbacks, but instead, premonitions. This would also fit in perfectly because we know the Hybrids have the ability to sense or see the future. Perhaps the Final Five have the same ability. The remains on Earth are from the fleet after they had settled. That would also explain how starbuck leads them all to their doom.

The time travel thing could work but it seems like a cheap way of wrapping up the series...

They still need to explain Starbuck too.

Really, you think it would be cheap? I mean, i know it sounds like a slapdash conclusion but if time travel ever were introduced into this series i think the writers would handle it very well. You don't think they could pull off something like time travel? I don't think time travel would be anymore an outlandish plot aspect than religious prophecies.

I said it could work. It just seems an easy way of going about finishing it since theres only a few episodes left in the series.

Spoiler:
Ellen reappears next episode
, so hopefully they'll explain a few things.

yeah, i agree, it would be a hard sell. How many episodes is going to be in this season?

Episode 17 was just on.

Spoiler:
"As Sam Anders recovers from surgery to dislodge the bullet in his brain, his memories of the history of the Final Five and the Human model cylons re-emerge. Ellen Tigh resurrects aboard a Basestar, and over a period of a year reveals the part she played aboard Earth."
Should be interesting.

Theres 5 more after that:

Spoiler:
Deadlock, Someone to Watch Over Me, Islanded in a Stream of Stars,
then the last 2 episodes are the finale.

5 more after last nights.

Good episode last night. A lot of back story. Im glad that Ellens resurrection happened in a flashback.

Last night's show was very good..

I think its highly possible that

Spoiler:
Starbuck is 'Daniel' post whatever John "did to her". Im mean Daniel clearly was Dirk Benedict back in the day. 😛 Look at the excessive tomboy thing with her too.

Thats the only other explaination that I can think off minus the time travel.

(The time dillation thing has already been confirmed last week.)
