so far me and my bf's team is Juggernaut, Wanda, Gambit and Jean (storm is an alternate for jean).

The only way to get Deadpool is to beat the game. THEN you play him in New Game+.
Worst character? Still Gambit. Even TOAD is better than him. For shame.
Best POTENTIAL character?: Juggernaut. Juggernaut when maxed out with Precision and Balanced Form will be doing 1000 to 800 damage. Colossus has nothing on him.
Storm is okay. She USED to be the best character. But her Chain Lightening is MUCH slower and weaker. Thus knocking her down a few pegs.
And Wolverine is still ridiculously overpowered. I don't like using him. Why does he get a dozen and half more abilities than somebody like Magneto 🤨
i can't beat mikhal either. i have only gotten to that laser thing like once, I can;t get past the first part yet. what levels are your characters when you fight mikhal, because I think mine are too low to be fighting him now. my highest level is only like 16 or 17 with either scarlet witch or storm.

Mine are entering Level 20. I've heard from other people and they have great difficulty as well.
Apparently you have to somehow KO an opponent on a panel to turn them into control panel to shut of a forcefield. Which is nearly impossible.
Solution? Ditch Storm and Scarlet Witch (unless she has Heal and Probablity Syphon THAN keep her) Bring in Iceman with freeze beam. Bring in either Jean or Magneto with some sort of defensive power at a high level. Bring in a powerhouse with lots of defense like Juggernaut.
Using Iceman freeze an opponent as soon as they step on platform. THAN quickly switch to the powerhouse and pummel the frozen foe on the panel. He'll turn into a control panel. Activate it. Repeat three more times.
At the end, most of characters will be either dead or damn near close.
Best way to upgrade Storm:
Forget her lightening attacks. Unlike the last game where they friggin overpowered this game REALLY toned down her lightening attacks.
Solution? Put her points in wind powers like Funnel and Blizzard. Upgrade her Wind mastery. And Storm is the best crowd control character in the game.

XML3 hasn't even been annoucned yet. The game (XML2) hasn't even been out a full month, so Activision is still seeing how sales are going with this one, and if they are good Activision will make a Legends 3.
Anyways my team is made up of Wanda, Magnus, Jean, and Scott.
Jean doesn't have that "WOW" factor that she used to have in the first game, so I suggest unless your a die-hard Jean-fanboy don't play with her in your first time through the game, a mistake I sadly made. I got too far in the game, and Jean was pretty powerful, I would have rather used those points on Storm, Iceman, Juggs, or Toad.
At least I have Deadpool and Iron Man, whom I haven't used yet. Well, I have used Deadpool who deals out massive melee damage amounts.
