i finally beat mikhal, he was very hard. I used storm, jean, iceman, and scarlet witch. I think that scarlet witch might be the most useful in the game. her combustion is very powerful. the team I use is scarlet witch, jean, iceman, and storm, and i am almost unbeatable with this team. sugar man wa soooooooo easy to beat. the only person I had left was storm, and I beat him. does anyone know where the iron-man armor is in act 1?
Scarlet Witch's Combustion is a useful ability...if she has a high strike. You have to look at what type of damage it causes. Combustion for some odd reason isn't dependent on Focus (Energy) It's depend on Strike. Unfortunately my Scarlet Witch is primarily Focus and Speed. She should be a support character.
Put points into Probability Syphon. You'll NEVER run out EP.

btw me and my bf's team (scarlet witch, Juggernaut, gambit, and jean with storm as a variable) have never ran into any trouble. i think only one of us has died once.. other wise no problem at all.
To answer willrules' question:
There are some things to do aside from the gameplay. You can go to the Danger Room (The one you access on the main menu screen) and do different modes of gameplay, like skirmish, and sparring. Unless you have a friend to do it with, it's no fun.
There's a reveiw section where you can look at all the items you've gained like how many comic books, are sketch artss you collected. It also shows you other things like how many of Iron Man's armor you've collected in acts 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5.
Then theres some replay value for the main game, like playing it with your unlocked characters, or playing the game again to build your stats up even more.

do the npc's change in difficulty the second time? or would you just have to choose hard mode?

i don';t know why everyone is complaining about storms lightning, it's very useful. it still does a lot of damage and everything. I like scarlet witches reality shift attack, it's the shit. it turnes people into boxes, and when you destroy the boxes, there's something inside for you. I'm at the madri castle now, it's very confusing. I'm in the temple of the mind now.
