I disagree Nightcrawler is simply the most powerful character in the game. Stack up his Strike and Focus. Add a little to his Body. Then focus on Teleport Frenzy, Teleport Mastery, Uncanny Reflexes, and Leap of Faith.
With these Nightcrawler is simply unstoppable. He'll be teleporting around like a demon. His Uncanny Reflexes will allow him to dodge ANY attack. Even radial attacks and homing projectiles. That's why you don't need to add much to Body. He simply cannot be hit. He's essentially invulnerable.
How powerful is Nightcrawler. Do like I say above and Nightcrawler will be doing thousands of points per hit for every teleport frenzy. He can kill a boss with ONE teleport frenzy. He could easily solo the game if he wanted to.
And Storm was simply too powerful in the last game. Legend Lightening would kill everything and everyone in one or two hits. It simply wasn't fun. As I said Chain Lightening is basically useless. It uses WAYYY to much EP. And the damage simply isn't justified. AND you have to stand still while holding the button. Her wind attacks are MUCH more powerful. A powered up Whirlwind will be doing thousands of points of damage per hit.

Iron Man is good too, even though I hate Iron Man, he has good projectiles, and flight and great specials.
One character that's dissapointed me though is Iceman, who has two of practically the same move, a slow beam and a freeze beam.

Iceman is VERY powerful. Don't waste time with Slow Beam. Focus on Freeze Beam, Cold Crush, his radial ice attack, his melee ice added damage, and Ice Mastery. Find his challenge disk. Complete it to get his special gear. It DOUBLES his ice damage. Put points in Ice Mastery and Iceman will become a HUGE powerhouse. He'll be killing enemies with single hits.
Iron Man is simply broke. I avoid using him because it doesn't make the game fun. He's too powerful.
Sure:
1 = Platforms (Third Platform)
2= Sewers South (behind the fan; you have to use a flyer to deactivate the power source a little farther into the stage. Use Storm. Than her lightening attack)
3= New York South Side ( on the rooftop immediately to your right. You need a flier obviously)
4= Holding Pens (When you're trapped by laser grids, go around, break through a wall, and deactivate the lasers. Pick it up.)
