JLA ultimate fight

Why isn't Orion in this fight?^^
Anyway:

Super Strength: The Martian's superhuman strength comes from his plasmorphic structure formed from immensely long and complex molecular chains, augmented with his psionic and telekinetic abilities allowing him to lift incredible weights without these weights crumbling under the stress. The Martian has been seen lifting small tankers out of the ocean for short distances. By modifing the density of these bio-polymers, the Manhunter can make himself stronger by forcing the polymers into tighter bundles. At a rest state, the Manhunter can lift approximately 20 tons. Given a few minutes to reconfigure, he could match Superman pound for pound for about a minute. Then the bio-polymer would begin to suffer under the strain and begin to unravel. While the Manhunter's strength can be on par with Superman and he lacks the long term endurance and stamina of the Kryptonian. This probably has to do with the Kryptonian's storage and creation of MetaATP which the Martian biology would not have developed being so far from the Earth's sun.

Limited Invulnerability: The Manhunter's invulnerability is no where near what Superman's is, as proven by the battle against Doomsday. Doomsday, defeated the entire Justice League with a single blow for each member. Overall, the bio-morphic structure of the Manhunter's body allows him to absorb most kinetic energies such as bullets, shrapnel or flying debris. Attacks of a nature greater than that, he can harden his bio-polymers by rebinding them and become nearly 10 times as resistant to damage as steel. Hazardous environments effect the Manhunter less than normal humans and he seems to recover from them much more quickly. He has proven to be immune to most human diseases, but no experimentation has been done to see what more advance viruses such as ebola or anthrax might have.

Martian Vision: The actual nature of this power seems to vary depending on the reports. It has been seen to be a bolt of force, directed by the Manhunter's eyes causing considerable damage, equivalent to 50-100 lbs of TNT. It has also been seen to cause flammable objects to catch fire. The range of this power is also unknown but has been seen to be effective at ranges of 500 feet or more. Judging from the infrequency of use, it must have a high energy cost or reduce the Martian's effectiveness in some way.

man we all can get info, from diferent pages, here´s the info on the manhunter from the dc guide.

"The powers and abilities of the Martian Manhunter are a mystery to most people and to extent even his friends. He has the ability to totally control his physical structure allowing him to shape shift, morph fluidly, and even turn invisible or intangible briefly. Physically he is Superman's league in terms of strength and endurance, the only thing that can harm him is an intense fear of fire (inborn in all Martians it is the basis of the god H'ronmeer who as well as being the object of fear as a fire god is the god of death via association). The effect of the fear is to strip any Martian of their super abilities via the psychosomatic effect of their own body control working involuntary against them.

Martians also possess a range of undefined mental abilities, primary among these is the telekinetic ability to fly. They also seem to have a range of telepathic powers including mind reading and to an extent active telepathy. The extent and true limitations of these powers are not known. One of the most prised abilities of the Martians is the ability Mayavana, it is the gift to reach into another mind and create a mental reality as real as any normal reality. The strain of Mayavana is such that it can only be used once a life time and so is normally used on the one that a Martian loves the most, J'onn used it on the rampaging Despero so that he thought that he had destroyed the JLI (subsequently he reverted to a an embryonic state) and therefore save his friends."

very clever, why don´t you put all about MM theat is writen in that link, if i remember well, they say, that what he doesn´t have in strenght and durability he compensates with other´s powers (telepathy, intangibility, invisibility, shapeshifting).

even if superman is more strong and durable then MM, it isn´t that much, its not like he´s gouing to puch him and the fight is over, and for the last time superma already said it once. " martian manhunter is the most powerful being living one earth"

why is hawkgirl not listed? If you are not going by the new cartoon.. then why not hawkman?

Because they're both JSA.

"i´m going for the comics, and i don´t like her."

Haha, just thought that was funny, seeing as I tend to agree.

Anyways, I'm going to throw this into this message board because it applies very well, but I think it might be useful in any of these threads, but I don't really know for sure and I'm sure people have seen it before. It's an article in Wizard from probably 5+ years ago where the top ten superheroes are ranked and all possible "vs." situations are examined (by experts, I'm guessing). Anyone seen this/remember it? I don't know how credible it is, but in that, Superman was number three, Wonder Woman was four, and Flash was five. They were the only JLA members to be ranked in the top ten.

Based on that (and much of my own opinion) I say:

1. Superman
2. Wonder Woman
3. Flash
4. Green Lantern
5. Martian Manhunter
6. Aquaman
7. Batman
8. Plastic Man

I understand the arguments for Batman, but assuming this fight were to occur without any prep-time, I just can't see Bats doing that well with only the gadgets he usually has on him.
Also, I think Plastic Man is getting slightly underrated here (I realize I too put him last). I doubt he could take on anyone above number 6 on my list, but I think a Batman vs. Plastic Man fight could be a toss up. A one in a thousand toss up favoring Batman, but a capability.

>_>

...................Plastic Man...

plastic man is the worst jla charachter ever.
