Dead or Alive?

Do you think that when a superhero dies in a comic, that he or she should remain dead? no matter how popular!

no.. because your killing off somebodies favourite character, and thats just wrong imo to keep them dead......

but come on how many times can you bring someone back?

only once or twice... the jean grey thing is ridiculous...

I think that sometimes it would be a change for a hero to die once, and thats it!

but who? who would you not miss?

When people talk about the resurrection of Colossus in Astonishing X-Men, there are people of both sides that say that either he's actually alive, or that Astonishing X-Men is just a different continuum. Can someone elaborate?

I would have liked to see Psylocke and Revanche to be revitalized, and actually I would like to see Pyro again and have them expand on his power capabilities.

It depends

I agree with Napalm. It depends on who the character is, how feasible it is to have them return (given powers, etc.) and whether or not they're worth it. It also depends on the circumstances of their death. At some point, I think most of the Thunderbolts in the original run died. Zemo, Fixer, Jolt, Atlas, Fixer again. However, it tied into the story, Nicieza killed them because it advanced the plot and their character, not as some wild useless deck clearing exercise, *cough* that hack Bendis during Avengers Disassembled*cough*.

bendis should burn for that...

as fas as i know astonishing is same universe, i could be wrong...

personally psylocke and colossus are two of my favourite characters, i was so happy when they came back...

Look at Superman. He died 3 times

f*ckin hacks...

now superman, i could live with him not coming back!

I could live with Captain America dying and not coming back.

superman... why the hate? he's an immortal hero...

well i don't hate him, its just he's too 1 dimensional for me thats all.

1 dimensional... jeez...

well he's so clean cut, there are no gray areas with him its all black and white. I like my hero's to have an edge to them

clean cut my ass... its called having a little f*cking responsibility, he has a family and a wife that hes very close to...

how would u feel if you knew that if u sneezed you could kill someone? its great guys like wolverine or punisher cutting loose, superman cant afford to, he's so powerful that the slightest mistake could kill hundreds of people. he cant afford to 'have an edge', he has to remain in total control, if he lost it you'd see something like kingdom come...

i know he has his faults (a bit of a mommas boy, follows earths laws and such), but jeez... i think calling him one dimensional is not fair... this is the guy who literally sacrificed himself to save dc earth...

easy, easy i meant no offence by what i said! I don't know it just seems that we never see him struggle with the responsibility
