Dead or Alive?

we dont have to... imagine hes fighting say doomsday and goes to throw him through a building, he has to worry about how many people he'll kill...

i didnt mean to go ott...

thats o.k man! i can understand that you feel passionately about superman, I'm the same with the hero's i like.

i just dont like that just because a hero aint 'cool' people think he's shit...

Hey i don't think he's shit! he's just not my bag.

i wasnt talking about you in particular, i was being general 😛

o.k thats good! for a minute there i through you were pissed at me!

They just "killed" one of my favorite characters, so I'm hoping it's not real this instance. Nomad--Jack Monroe dies in Cap #3

f*ckers...

i prefer them to stay dead rather than still have them around but never used, im a toad fan and he's not dead but some stupid writers just keep messing with the character for no reason, for example: in uncanny not too long ago toad lashed his tongue at wolvie (as if he doesnt know wolvie has claws) and wolvie cut his tongue off......might as well just kill him off instead of having the fans (the very few fans) having to see them trample all over the character they like

and i really hate the idea of characters being resurrected with more strength, thats really just fanboyism imo, for example having pyro come back with even more abilities, he's a mutant, his power is pyrokinetics...thats it, no need to add to it so he could be some invincible character and then have him swatted down in some claremont arc by an even weaker character, then have him in s.h.i.e.l.d. custody for the rest of the characters life

Characters should most definitley stay dead (with a few obvious exceptions like those that use it as a part of story that defines there character.) No one should be ressurected twice, not even once, not ever. Stories, like people should have a beggining, a middle and an end. No one appreciates a good ending anymore, and writers respect it even less.

I think they are a little hogwild with death nowadays. Hal Jordan should just stay dead. I know he's a fan favorite, but he died, and now he's the Spectre. Yes turning him into Parallax sucked, and yes, I'm reading GL:Rebirth and enjoying it, but now they threaten to kill the rest of the GL's, most of whom I like.

I think some death's should be reversed. Like Moon Knight's was, and the Punisher. They were killed simply because sales were dwindling and the writer needed an easy way to end their final issue. But some need to stick, like Phoenix. Either keep her alive, or have her die for good. It's getting old now. At least Claremont isn't at the reigns of Endsong, so it might actually be respectable.

Bendis' massacre over in Avengers was needless and stupid. Just because your story sucked donkey balls, doesn't mean you can kill some fanfavorite characters for shock value. Hawkeye, Vision, Ant-Man and perhaps Jack of Heats should all be 'alive' right now.

i agree, i mean if it fits with the story then it's o.k to let a hero die! But if its just because the writer is just lazy and can't think of a new story then that's wrong.

ok i hate supes just as muh as anyone, but they cant kill him and forget about him. imagine a whole gereration without superman, they need to keep him around forever, wether we like it or not, he is the embodiement of comics, superheros and pretty much everything he says he stands for in his comics. they cant just kill of superman and they never will because hes superman, and he will always be.

and colossus is chill, keep him alive 2

Reviving a character cheapens there story. It makes little of there effort and the importance of their existance.
