Die Weiber von Weinsberg Adelbert von Chamisso
Der erste Hohenstaufe, der König Konrad, lag
Mit Heeresmacht vor Weinsberg seit manchem langen Tag.
Der Welfe war geschlagen, noch wehrte sich das Nest,
Die unverzagten Städter, die hielten es noch fest.
Der Hunger kam, der Hunger! Das ist ein scharfer Dorn.
Nun suchten sie die Gnade, nun fanden sie den Zorn:
"Ihr habt mir hier erschlagen gar manchen Degen wert,
Und öffnet ihr die Tore, so trifft euch doch das Schwert!"
Da sind die Weiber kommen: "Und muß es also sein,
Gewährt uns freien Abzug, wir sind vom Blute rein!"
Da hat sich vor den Armen des Helden Zorn gekühlt.
Da hat ein sanft Erbarmen im Herzen er gefühlt.
"Die Weiber mögen abziehn, und jede habe frei,
Was sie vermag zu tragen und ihr das Liebste sei;
Laßt ziehn mit ihrer Bürde sie ungehindert fort!
Das ist des Königs Meinung, das ist des Königs Wort".
Und als der frühe Morgen im Osten kaum gegraut,
Da hat ein selt'nes Schauspiel vom Lager man geschaut;
Es öffnet leise, leise sich das bedrängte Tor,
Es schwankt ein Zug von Weibern mit schwerem Schritt hervor.
Tief beugt die Last sie nieder, die auf dem Nacken ruht,
Sie tragen ihre Eh'herrn, das ist ihr liebstes Gut.
"Halt an die argen Weiber!" ruft drohend mancher Wicht;
Der Kanzler spricht bedeutsam: "Das war die Meinung nicht!"
Da hat, wie er's vernommen, der fromme Herr gelacht:
"Und war es nicht die Meinung, sie haben's gut gemacht!
Gesprochen ist gesprochen, das Königswort besteht,
Und zwar von keinem Kanzler zerdeutelt und zerdreht."
I like this one....I don't know to many English ones but German Poems are good too 😄
He's a funny guy, if he really writes a book I consider buying it. Anyways I am totally hyper thrilled because I saw the H2G2 (is it possible to refer to it as that, I belive it is, easy too) Trailer and it was totally awesom-o, but why I am mostly mega excited is because they use the original Radio Show Them...which is one of the greatest themes ever written.
Hmm because I am so happy, and because I didn't do anything batcave related in a long time I will now give away the first annual hottest batcave girl awartd.
AND THE WINNER Is ...dum, dum, dum hte witch boy (sorry reference to a DC Comic, very good comic too).....dum dum dum Nutella Spatzi hug ...come here and take your award 😄

Well I finally saw ROTS. It certainly was better than Phantom and Clones. It is not as good as Empire and A New Hope. I kinda undecided on whether it's better than Jedi because while I like the movie I can't stand the beanie babies (ewoks).
My trip to Europe is coming up in a week and a half and one of the books I'm taking is...
THE ULTIMATE HITCHHIKER'S GUIDE TO THE GALAXY
I shall give my opinion on the book when I get back.✅
Oh and get the new Gorillaz album. It's the best thing since slice bread. 😮💨

True ROTS was better than I and II by far, I persobnally prefer ROTJ to ANH though, (well I mean you can close your eyes and scream lalalallalala when the ewoks are there). I a not totally sure how I rate it though.
Hmm actually youn don't have to give your opinion on the book, since it can only be a good one....but certainly do as you please.
I personally bought The Ultimate Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy in the US because they had this great version all in black with Gold Letters and the Pages are gold on the side (looks like a bible, just that I prefer the content)
