Lets say spiderman dumps MJ for the black cat. How long do you think they would last together? I'm thinking it would only be a few month thing. I'm not sure those two could stick together long term.

Yeah. The green goblin killed her. but she actually wasn't peter's first love. Betty Brant was his first love in the comics. Gwen was his second love. but gwen is considered peter's first TRUE love, though.
