Hunger
Party night rolled around, and I'm off to hang and chill,
Got a seat and leaned way back, "Howdy there. I'm Will."
Introductions all around and a few shot with the guys,
All the wild and crazy going, and i shut my eyes,
everything drifts away... or do i drift instead?
everything seems so distant... loneliness being fed...
You are there with me, and then I snap back to,
Looking at my buzzing phone, a smile, I see it's you,
Off to hide and enjoy your voice, and the music is too loud!
But at least I could get away for a bit, away from the crowd,
The night seemed empty without you, the dances felt so cold,
The jaeger felt stale going down, dull when once it was bold,
then i hear you calling... and all i can do is smile...
off to hide again... to find myself for a while...
Wishing you were there so badly, just for a few seconds at least,
You'd have gotten to laugh when you saw me unleash a bit of the beast,
A perfect night with one exception, and the one thing that would make it the best,
If you had been there to share with me, and then came back with me to rest.
Faery and Fallen
Both have lost their wings,
Both now dwell on ground,
Both are misplaced,
Both belong to different kingdoms,
But both share something...
Something so special,
To know it is only to begin,
For it is not in the knowing,
Not in the sharing,
But in the whole,
The spirit of the angel and the faery,
The love of the skies,
The memory of past lives,
Both share so much,
Much more than just the moment...
One cast from Heaven,
One from Titania's side,
Forced to live in this world,
To fight, and never die.
Would he give his all for her,
And would she do it for him?
They would battle the forces,
The armies, the legions,
Of Heaven, Hell, and the world,
The universe itself,
Just to be together...
Distance means nothing,
Just that each moment is cherished all the more...
The fallen angel...
