I do agree with you though. I don't use chat up lines at all. Only in a joking manner.

It's probably coz girls mostly like sense of humour so they think the girl will laugh at the chat up line.

Pointless. From my experience it gets you more respect and chance just walking over and saying "Hello" or some other greeting.

Women like different things. Some like the holding doors, pulling chairs stuff. Some don't, some like it rugged and stuff.

I apply either accordingly.
