And the Ghost Prison is also up
Thanks. Dawn of the Jedi is, sadly, completely sub-par. Ostrander is far better at writing stories smaller in scope like Agent of the Empire and his Quinlan Vos comics. He should just keep working on those rather than big epic stories like Legacy.
The Ghost Prison was interesting. Always nice to see more Trachta, but I'm not sure how I feel about Palpatine being so defenseless, especially in front of Vader.

Haven't read the latest issue yet. But as I recall we were bitching that they would screw up with the story some time ago. From the first issue we already saw it going the wrong direction, not to mention the weak concept of civilization, Jedi and technology.

Vader knows that he needs much more training. I can give you an in univers explanation:
1 palpatine is the public face of the Empire and Vader lacks political capital. Without Palps there is big cjhance for Rebellion. The Empire still ran campaings against the seps around that time.
2 there were powerfull force users who rivalled Vader in power: Kadann and Jerec. If he kills Palps they might try to replace him.
