Ok, idiocy aside, I don't see how anyone can support this woman or her obscure views. Sure millions of people buy her books, but hell, millions of people listen to the Howard Stern show that don't even like it.

It's not particularly about supporting her or her views...I think people are more interested in what the ding bat will spew from her mouth next.

If you have read Al Franken's book Lies and their lying liars that tell them he shows you how she misquotes even herself. The good thing about Franken's book is that he encourages you to research his facts to show that he has nothing to hide.

Coulter's books on the other hand are pure crap (oops sorry I meant propaganda) and I have to laugh every time I see her on T.V. making a complete ass of herself.

Yet there seem to be alot of people who believes what she says or rally around her dimwitted banter. I thought that she was just being outrageous to sell books and that kinda scared me, when I found out that people buy into it I became terrified.

Al Franken and Ann Coulter are basically the same thing for me. Different political views, but same goals....trying to sell books and making a profit. That's why I think they are pretty smart for making capital outta their own opinions.

They maybe the same in that they both make a profit off political discussion and their books, but that's where the similarity stops.

Aside from vastly divergent viewpoints. Al Franken attacks you by knowing about the issues and rebuting what people have to say. Coulter just lies and talks really loud, distorts her facts and then just laugh when you prove her wrong.

I've never even heard of her before, and from reading some of her quotes up there, I can see why. Pretty typical shock value mumojumbo.

I can almost garuantee she's just saying all of those things to get attention, or else she's really, really stupid.

i wish people would stop letting jagoffs like ann coulter, mike savage, bill oreilly and rush limaugh get their feathers ruffled with massive doses of paranoid finger pointing jibberish. and so many people eat this crap right up. they believe every goddamn word.
but the real joke of it all is that they're all just fakeass celebrities who profit off of fear, suspicion, and intolerance. 😬

It doesn't even bother me. The truth is there for all to see; and they can choose to be blind to it. It's detrimental for their country's sake; imminent danger is increasing evermore with views like this.

I consider (this will sound arrogant) myself pretty well read and informed, however in Australia her books don't exist, I know virtually nothing of her, nor do any of the other people I know.

I don't see her changing the world with her seemingly tacky, shock a minute views or her books.

It must be nice to say whatever you want and even make stuff up to make a point, yet never take responsibility for it.

It's the same reason why you don't watch Bill O'reilly for serious news, the guy ain't fair and balanced, I'll be the first to admit that much.
6) Helping queers get married. Why can't the uppity queers settle for civil unions? Dictionaries cost money to reprint.
7) Fighting to legalize weed. Who is this helping, please, I'd love to know.
8) Arguing against the war in Iraq. Gee, let's see here, free millions, lose a grand, or free a grand, imprison millions. Hmmm. BTW, for those that think Iraq is going poorly, why don't you check the number of recorded deaths in any other war in the history of wars, even ones where they didn't have many to lose.
9) Fighting the Republican Social Security proposal. Got a better idea? I mean, what the ****, men, what the ****?
10) Defending Soviet Russia. The guys were communists. Shut-up. SHUT-UP. I know you're arguing with your monitor at this point. But they were NOT socialists. They just weren't.
