brainwashed bush bashers

I must admit, I consider myself a "liberal", as it were, and personally I don't like Bush, but I don't really hate him either, just strongly dislike. I would have preferred Gore, or even Kerry, mainly as I haven't liked Bush direction, his actions etc. Of course the so called "liberal candidates" may have even been worse if they got in (though I doubt it). However, when it comes to voting, I vote for the person who has the best intentions, and the most to offer, to the people, I don't base it on labels like many seem to.

So, am I a Bush hater? No, simply a conscientious objector. Sometimes those with conservative views are good for a nation, if in balance, sometimes a liberal, if in balance. Bush is, to my eyes, remarkably unbalanced.

actually backfire makes a good point, brainwashed bush lovers seem to paint him as saint bush and he can do no wrong even it seems if it goes against politics they would usually not be for.

its refreshing to see a non-'liberal' acknowledge this. that has been my issue since day one.

as for me, i hate bush. it just seems to me that he's declared himself some omnipotent ruler with nobody to answer to besides god himself(and who even knows if he answers to god).
but i dont hate him because michael moore told me to.
just as i hope that some people who support bush might do so by their own decision, and not because bill oreilly or rush limbaugh told them to.

look at the graphs... they show that most of the central states (and a few coastal ones)... as in middle america... voted for bush... now consider the kind of people who live in those states (not all, but alot), they are what you'd call 'god fearing' and will blindly follow him because he's such a 'good christian', regardless of his foreign policy... because they simply don't care...

So you're saying that nobody's vote from states between Virginia and California should count! Look at a map and see what that would do as far as getting a good representation of the country.

Hey, while we're at it let's:
Throw out the votes from all ghettos in the country; they're too poor to know anything.
Throw out the votes from the New England states; they're too busy being stuck up and eating their clam chowder to know anything.
Throw out the Southern votes; they're too busy redneck-ing to know anything.
Throw out the votes from Louisiana; they're too drunk to know anything.
Throw out Oregon votes as well; they're too revolting to know anything.
Throw out Alaska and Hawaii votes; they're too far away to know anything.
Throw out North Dakota votes; they're too busy being an insignificant state to know anything.
Throw out California votes; they're too selfish to know anything.
Throw out all votes from people who live on farms. I mean, if you live on a farm you obviously have a zero IQ.
Throw out all votes from people who live in apartments. I mean, if you can't afford your own property then obviously you're stupid.
Throw out all votes from people who own cats. Dogs are better, so if you own a cat then you must be pretty dumb.
Throw out all votes from people who eat with two forks. One for the dinner and one for the salad. I mean, how uneducated must you be to do that?

[/SARCASM]

The fact is, the Midwest is part of this country and it's unfair to judge them on what you may perceive is "wrong" with them.

ok dude... i think you completely misunderstood me...

what i am saying is that people need to realise that the american election affects the whole world...

and don't patronise me... i would never take away a persons right to vote... all i'm asking is that the people who support bush could have a look at the rest of the world... places like somalia and korea that definately need attention... not some despot ruler in the middle east... then they might see whats really going on...

bush has followed his own agenda on kyoto and iraq, and maybe iran if he invades. whether people like it or not bush is in a position to wreak havok(c?) with the rest of the world... people believe he's making america safe, but he's not, he's alienating allies and pissing off practically every terrorist on the planet...

just in case your wondering, i don't like bush because of: his opinions on gays and abortion and his foreign policy, those are as genuine as any.

Well, I understand what you're saying now, but you sure didn't phrase it that way IMO. It sounded like an attack on a certain group of people and I didn't see anything about foreign policy in it.

Then don't move to the Midwest. They might hang you for sure!

I shouldn't have to put this next thing, but you never know with some people: [/SARCASM]

apologies botankus if i didn't word my argument properly, no sleep'll do that...

if i don't agree with a groups views or beliefs i try to live and let live...

but when they try to force those beliefs (i.e. bush) onto others that pisses me off big time...

he could f*ck up the world big time imo, i'm moving to asia very soon and if bush f*cks with china or korea thats my ass...

I doubt Bush would mess with Asia from a military perspective. Too much planning involved and he would be out of office before he ever got anything going. If he did mess with Asia it would be from an economic perspective. Then again, I'm not an expert on foreign relations so I'm just speculating. Good luck with your move, pr1983.

thx..

i am worried still though, all it would take to piss off n.korea is one false(or stupid) move... and they hate him enough already... maybe i'm being over cautious, but all it would take was one stray jet and there goes the neighbourhood...

deep down i don't believe bush has the balls to do anything about korea, i just hope i'm right...

"deep down i don't believe bush has the balls to do anything about korea, i just hope i'm right..."

He might not have the brains to avoid it either.

90% of bush bashers want

Examples:
1) Giving money to crackwhores.
2) Supporting the French on anything. **** the French, they're a bunch of socialist pussies.
3) Protecting people from capital punishment. "We're trying to send 'em (murderers) a message. Go somewhere else and kill people. Go to California, they don't give a sh!t."
-Ron White, the most brilliant man alive (regardless of his political affiliation).
4) Partial birth abortions. Gee, crackwhore that got "raped," it took you that long to figure out you didn't want the son-of-a-*****? Pun intended.
5) Watching CNN (Commie News Network). Haven't you ever heard that giving someone obnoxious the attention they desire just makes incites them to be more obnoxious? It's the same reason why you don't watch Bill O'reilly for serious news, the guy ain't fair and balanced, I'll be the first to admit that much.
6) Helping queers get married. Why can't the uppity queers settle for civil unions? Dictionaries cost money to reprint.
7) Fighting to legalize weed. Who is this helping, please, I'd love to know.
8) Arguing against the war in Iraq. Gee, let's see here, free millions, lose a grand, or free a grand, imprison millions. Hmmm. BTW, for those that think Iraq is going poorly, why don't you check the number of recorded deaths in any other war in the history of wars, even ones where they didn't have many to lose.
9) Fighting the Republican Social Security proposal. Got a better idea? I mean, what the ****, men, what the ****?
10) Defending Soviet Russia. The guys were communists. Shut-up. SHUT-UP. I know you're arguing with your monitor at this point. But they were NOT socialists. They just weren't.

He might not have the brains to avoid it either.

exactly...

napalm... please just don't bother... honestly... what kind of shit are you reading?

well it appears pr that the iraqi people didn't see bush going to iraq as a "christian crusade" considering it was twice the percentage of people than here in the states that showed up to vote. They didn't like sudam and they didn't like his mass graves too much either. Sometimes you need to use force to overthrow little tiny things that we call dictators. Now Iraq is moving in the direction of democracy, a free and democratic Iraq is not only good for them but its good for us.
So Instead of being a coward and crouching down in a fetal position covering his head after 911 Bush decided he would take out territory that bred hatred for america. And yes even saddam's generals belived that he had weapons of mass destruction and nobody doubted for a minute he had them including john kerry, so i don't ant to hear that tired "he lied to us" crap. The information he had in front of him was the he had the weapons. But even past that a country now has the oppurtunity to be a democracy because a president had the guts to do something about it instead of listening to france or the UN, and as a side note oil for food anyone??? of course they didn't want to stand by their own rules and take out sudam. So on that i support the president.
And about wether Bush won a big win from what i understand there has not been a big margin of the pop vote that big in quite awile. Also Bush took the biggest number of votes ever in the united states.
Bush is not a terrible president, there have been much worse, but people love to judge the man on hjis religeon and that he isn't very articulate and he is........from texas????? get real. If your not for iraq than that can be a valid opinion, but saying you don't like the war because he lied and he is hitler and its a "christian crusade" is insulting.
anyway with that said i like Bush but i also wish there were even better choices for president. I try to keep open minded as well and i can see several areas were i don't agree with Bush. But when it came to Kerry I am not comfortable with any president saying before he does anything he wants to go through a "global test". The president should make choices that he belives is best for the country not choices that he thinks France is most suited too. We vote in a president then he goes around making sure everything he does is ok from another country that may have a agenda that is against us??? give me a break.

Dude, wtf are you smoking? That made no sense at all. Besides which I don't think anybody is claiming the USSR was communist. If you think that you're a dipshit.

yea darth revan and you sound like a real genius

the iraqi's didnt call it a crusade, bush did...

it is wonderful that iraq is finally free... but what about somalia? or arguably the biggest dictator of em all kim jong il...

there were no weapons, none were found, your suggestion that there were is ludicrous as none were found and the british government crucified blair for going into iraq under false pretences...

bred hatred for america? so why not attack saudi arabia? its only the homeland of most of the 9/11 hijackers...

this whole anti france/un thing is bullshit... just because they don't authorize invasions you critsicise them...

oil for food? its not like the iraqi's have a choice...

i never called him hitler, he called it a 'crusade' and his own idiocy is his own problem... and yes, he did lie...

why are you so anti france? grow up ffs... france is not anti america, never has been.

the fact is the usa us the single most powerful nation on the planet, but that does not make them above the law, and it never will...

iraq was in invasion, not a war, its only a war now because american leaders sat on their fat arses and planned the invasion worse than vietnam...

He never said all people who love bush are rednecks, merely that rednecks like Bush.

theres a few rednecks that liek kerry to i am sure
