OKAYYY GUYSS.
Let's look at the facts:
1. Sidious was not hurting himself with the lightening....exerting FL does not drain a Sith's life away. Look at ROTJ when Sidious let a buttload of FL out, he was fine. Look at Dooku doing it in AOTC, he's fine. Look at SIDS AGAIN doing it to Yoda in ROTS. IT WAS ALL A FRONT TO APPEAR WEAK!
2. Anakin would NOT turn unless Palpatine's life was in danger. Remember Palps words "Anakin save me....or Padme will die too." Sidious had NO choice but to play possum to Mace. Think about it....Anakin ONLY wanted for Palps to live and get arrested so he could inquire more about the power to save life. Mace wanted to KILL Palps because he was A SITH LORD.
3. This is the kicker - and answer this because you CANNOT! Why the hell would Palpatine just sit tight and await his eminent doom by the Jdi Council if he did not know what was going to happen. He has ample time to leave!!
SIDIOUS PLANNED THE WHOLE FRIGGIN THING:
EXTINCTION of the JEDI and the TURNING of ANAKIN
DarthSith, you provide me no valid proof at all. There is NO PROOF except for made up shit.
Hmm, another excuse. Why am I not surprised?
Sidious Called out to Anakin. When? I never said Sidious called out to Anakin.
Where you reading his mind when he said this things? Or let me guess, It was "obvious". The f*ck it was.
Correct (for once). It was obvious.
No, him crying like a baby is direct proof that he didn't want Mace to kill him and ruin his Master plan.
ead my whole post. Why would he cream like that. He didn't in ROTJ when he was dying (falling down the shaft) it's the same circumstance so why scream like that in ROTS? Answer: he was faking it. Face it, that's the only possible answer.
Oh of course not. Only the fact that he got him to the ground and had a Lightsaber at his face.
Yeah Sorgo, and Luke was kicking Vader's ass in ESB, LOL!
He could have used ANYTHING else.
Name one, if you can.
I'm the Loser with no proof? That is quite a funny statement, coming from someone who doesn't have proof. Actually, you do have Assumptions and crafty stories... I like that!
You know, this is becoming a waste of time.
Oh yeah, Obi wan didn't kill anakin. That was an accident, what i mean't to say was he chopped off three of his limbs and let him burn.
WTF, he chopped two of Vader's limbs off and let him burn.
DarthVasallo, he's wrong. If he can't see that by now then he's as blinded as the Jedi and as dumb as a sack of shit. It's not worth my time to throw proof in front of his face and have him say it's fake. He's not going to change his feeble mind. I'm leaving. This time could be spent better elsewhere, at TFN or the official site. Stay if you will but I'll see you around, in the weakest sith thread, maybe, if I go back there sometime. Bye!
See ya Sorgo, you stupid little waste of time!
Maul would beat GG.

1. Obi Wan cut Anakins legs off and his arm....
1 Arm = 1 Limb
1 leg = 2 limbs
another leg = 3 LIMBS, YOU F*CKING MORON!
Sidious didn't scream when he thrown down the shaft?
OH MY F*CKING GOD!!!!!!
"Yeah Sorgo, and Luke was kicking Vader's ass in ESB, LOL!"
Not laughable and not a good comparment.
Sidious knew Jedi Masters were coming. Sidious saw Jedi Masters. Jedi Masters get f*cked except for Mace. Sidious wants to kill Mace and make it look like the Jedi Masters attacked him for Anakin. Sidious has trouble killing Mace and Anakin walks into the room. Palpatine begs for his life because if he dies his master plan will go down the drain as fast as a spoonful of water. Anakin saves him.
Sidious gets all pissed at the Jedi and says they are an enemy of the republic.
And no the lightning didn't hurt Palpatine, but Palpatine did not want it to show his true face.
I wont be here either, i have a forum to run.
Maul vs. Grievous...I would first like to bring out that Maul was trained by the Dark Lord of the Sith, Sidious and Grievous was trained by Count Dooku so that gives Maul more exp. Grievous has more on Maul since he can use 5 lightsabers at once so Maul would have to move quickly since he can't separate his lightsabers. If I had to chose I would go with Grievous since Obi-Wan defeated Maul when he was a learner and Grievous was barely defeated by Obi when he was a Jedi Master on the council. Plus Grievous has been taught by Dooku to try to tire out the Jedis and I guess it works with the Sith and since Grievous is a cyborg he can't get tired so all he has to do is outlast Maul. Still it would be cool to see these 2 to go at it.
And Sidious wasn't faking. How would he know that Anakin would save him. I wouldn't take that risk. All you know is that Anakin would have let Mace kill the Emperor and that would be it. I'm sure Sidious wasn't taking any chances and having Anakin save him from Mace is a HUGE risk.
Got this E-Mail from s t a r w a r s . c o m: The following is a sample entry of the new Set Diary series now available for Hyperspace members. In the summer of 2003, correspondent Pablo Hidalgo filed daily reports on the making of Episode III, but by necessity most of the plot details were obscured as to not spoil any secrets. Now that the movie is out, much of what was too hot in 2003 can be discussed, with further insight into the making of Revenge of the Sith.
It's one of the fieriest debates of online fan forums: when Palpatine was cornered in his office's giant window-frame, was he really overpowered by Mace? Or was he faking to lure Anakin? Could Mace really have gotten the upper hand on the Sith Lord?
George Lucas is the ultimate keeper of the true answer, and he's not telling... yet, anyway. If you had asked me in the Summer of '03, when the sequence was first shot, I would have had a solid answer. But, if you asked me in the Fall of '04, when the sequence was re-shot, well... for those who want to debate, it's best to know more of the story of how this scene came to be.
This entire sequence changed significantly during postproduction. What we witnessed in Sydney told a different story. Anakin did not earn Mace's trust by ratting out Sidious right away. He did not agonize over his decisions while sitting alone in the Jedi Council chamber. He did not rush in at the last minute to witness a questionable balance of power. Instead, he stayed at Palpatine's side, in the Chancellor's private office, as Mace and his posse of Jedi barged in.
"Stand behind me," ordered Mace, in Sam Jackson's demanding tones. But Anakin didn't budge. Instead, he watched passively as Palpatine used the Force to snatch Anakin's lightsaber from his belt and attacks Mace and the Jedi. There's ample evidence of this original version for those with sharp eyes and behind-the-scenes photos. Heck, even Hasbro action figures with Palpatine packaged with Anakin's lightsaber got out there in the initial shipments.
So, if Sidious' entire duel played out before Anakin's stunned eyes, I'd be inclined to think that his fall was just for show. This changed after a screening George Lucas held for a few key colleagues. Their reactions underscored the shortcomings of the way this duel was constructed. Anakin's inaction was hard to justify cinematically. "The story was there, but it wasn't clear," said Lucas at the time it came to rebuild this scene. "It was too abstract. We opened up that part and looked at what we could do."
When word of the change came down, the keepers of continuities started carefully tracking the evolving consequences. Palpatine had two lightsabers, then, since he loses this one in the duel with Mace. I still have in my inbox a tentative email from one of the authors asking, "um, have we figured out yet whose lightsaber Palpatine uses in the fight with the Jedi?"
At first, it was feared it was impossible to CG the small svelte-handled weapon over Anakin's relatively chunky handle, but nonetheless, that was the lightsaber given to McDiarmid for the pickup photography. The shots of Palpatine rising from his chair and extending the weapon were reshot. The bulk of the duel between Sidious and Mace stayed from principal photography, except for a new touch -- a kick to Palpatine's face, done with stunt double Michael Byrne. This was shot on a partial set of just a piece of window-frame on Friday, August 27.
So... with this revised duel, if Sidious threw the fight, it places an awful lot of faith on Anakin's timing ...and he suffered a kicked-in face to boot. For what it's worth to those arguing, I doubt there's anyone who thinks Palpatine's serious when he claims he's too weak. That's obviously a lie. But was the fall into the corner that preceded his pleas for help a lie as well?
What else changed in this scene? There are a few more interesting details, particularly where it moved in the sequencing of the story. But that will have to wait for another entry.

So the answer isn't revealed yet, but my favorite part of the article is: I doubt there's anyone who thinks Palpatine's serious when he claims he's too weak. That's obviously a lie.
Yeah, well, don't doubt it, because LordSorgo here sure doesn't see than it was a lie. LOL!
Okay, bye.

Okay, bye.
Obviousities and doubts are all Assumptions. You have proved nothing.
Bye!
Genera; Grievous would defiently win. Look at the basics. Maul was defeated by a rookie jedi and general grievous was beat by a general. (obi-wan both times) Sure, Maul was defeated because he did not fight back but Maul is specialized in fighting 2 lightsabres. not four. Also, General Grievous should have killed Obi-wan. If you search for general grievous, it says he is magnetized so he could not be affected by force push in the movie and his weapons, his bodyguards staff and his blaster are also magnetized to metal so they cannot leave his side or move from the floor by the force unless the jedi or sith have huge force powers. And finally, General Grievous was made out of lightsaber proof metal so his hands could not have been cut off.
Maul was defeated by a rookie jedi and general grievous was beat by a general.
All right, so if Obi kills grievous but Sidious kills me I'm stronger than Grievous since the person who killed me is stronger than the person who killed Grievous, right?
General Grievous should have killed Obi-wan.
No, the only reason Obi even had trouble with GG is because he lost his saber.
If you search for general grievous, it says he is magnetized so he could not be affected by force push in the movie
Did you see the movie? Because GG does get Force pushed.
and his weapons, his bodyguards staff and his blaster are also magnetized to metal so they cannot leave his side or move from the floor by the force unless the jedi or sith have huge force powers.
1. The droids can leave his side at will, as shown in ROTS.
2. The magnatised feet only prevent Jedi/Sith from Force pushing GG if GG is on a metal floor.
And finally, General Grievous was made out of lightsaber proof metal so his hands could not have been cut off.
I take it you didn't see the movie, then.
Alright. I'm here to help. Let me explain as to what Hievi meant. In "labyrinth of evil, most of General Grievous body armor can not be cut directly through. While fighting Jedi's on Coruscant, the jedi's land blows on his check and legs, but the do little but burn it. General Grievous laughs in their faces and kills them with ease.
Lord Sorgo, in the scholastic version of the episode III book, it clearly says that Palpatine was faking. It may be a childish version of the book, but that's what it says.
*note the book also said that Agen Kolar was Eoth Koth.
