I seriously don't suggest getting a tattoo unless you think about it for a long time before getting it. Remember that this will be with you the rest of your life, it's not like you can wash it off. (My sister tried that when she first got her tattoo done, she regrets hers)
Think about what the tattoo will look like when you're 80 years old. Think about what people will say about it, if it's showing. Tattoo's will make it harder to get a job also if they see the tattoo.
Think about it long and hard before EVER getting one.

Oh and also think about the pain of a tattoo, getting it done does hurt, depending on the body area the pain is either tolerable or it brings tears to your eyes.
If you think sitting still for half an hour is torture...you can't move when getting your tatt applied, my skull and crossbones tattoo took 3 or more hours of constant pain, and to top it off my arm fell asleep.
