not really. art school isnt fun if you cant stay afloat. not only that but its a real ego-killer for an artist who left high school as the biggest fish in a little pond and then has to deal with the fact that a couple of people in their class are far superior.
i had fun moments, but as a whole it was a pain in the ass, and got progressively more stressful all the way up till my final thesis. i wouldnt do it all over again if you paid me double what i spent doing it the first time 😖 its an intensly painful labor of love.
