I go with HD-DVD. I honestally think it will be the one to win, it's only a matter of time untill HD TVs are at a reasonable price, and small ones aren't extremely expensive, and besides, Porn is still backing HD. and that is the part of the entertinment industry that makes the most money.

I can't seem to stop going to this website. It has kind of infected me. So much so that I am now making my own ytmnd's. I made another one where I did a redneck-style dramatic reading of an excerpt of the phonecall transcript from Bill Oreilly's dirty phone call to that lady who was working for him. I'm very proud of it, but not sure if i should post it here since the Bill-O's language was kind of, well, blue

Anyway, i think this is the longest post I've made here since EIII came out.

Blu-Ray is the other new HD format as successor of DVD. But they are not compatible.... (yet). So if you invest now in HD DVD equipment and DVD's, and Blu-Ray wins the race, you may have to re-invest in the future.

And if you invest in new BluRay stuff now, and it becomes a rogue format you will have made a poor investment. Also, if you invest now, you'll re-invest in two years anyway because you're a geek.

Seems 2:1 you should not invest.

Fair enough, but in the video branch they still reign supreme. I work in television and Sony always wins there, as it does in the consumer stuff.
