Oh, you know what I meant.

Speaking of which, I found this while searching for the "death of Caption Kirk" video. And I have to say, I had to bite my tongue to keep from laughing while in the library.

Yes, now I remember. Hahaha.

IT'S AN ANGEL!

"It is increasingly important for parents to realize that PC games can be altered through the use of downloadable programs created by other players called 'mods' (short for modification), which are broadly available on the Internet and can change the content of a game. Since players create them, it is impossible for ESRB or any rating service to consider them in assigning a rating" - ESRB Spokesperson

Wait, by this logic, all computer games should have an M or AO ratings because anything can potentially be added to a game.

Good point.

They are talking about the unmodified game that they have in their hands. You would never buy a modified game unless a problem from a previous version was corrected.

It's about downlaodable programmes.

I know, they are mods which users can either download (or create) to change PC games.

To rate a game based on a mod that it COULD have is stupid.

Someone could turn an Elmo game into a hardcore torture porno. lol

It should be based on the content it has on hand and stock.

ugh i have to download stupid PhotoShop CS4, bcuz the college is skipping CS3, and going to CS4 like a couple of nimrods.

Ah.... CS4... so soon?

yeah and CS3 hasn't even been out for 6 months.

and CS5 already has a demo out, i hear.

its retarded. the only thing i know CS4 has different from CS3, is a stupid split screen, that they totally took from PhotoImpression.

Who needs a stupid split screen and u can cascade the windows? just stupid. and when ur on PS, all your only using open window at time (at least i do). open the picture u need, u copy it... paste it int he work area ur on... u close it..... u don't need a split screen to do that.

retarded.

"What made you what you are? Girlfriend killed by the mob, maybe? Brother carved up by some mugger? Something like that, I bet, something like that.

Something like that happened to me you know. I... I'm not exactly sure what it was. Sometimes I remember it one way, sometimes another...

If I'm going to have a past, I prefer it to be multiple choice! HA HA HA!

But my point is... My point is, I went crazy. When I saw what a black aweful JOKE the world was, I went crazy as a coot! I ADMIT IT! Why can't you?

I mean you're not unintelligent! You must see the reality of the situation. Do you know how many times we've come close to World War Three over a flock of geese on a computer screen? Do you know what triggered the last world war? An argument over how many telegraph poles Germany owed it's war debt creditors! TELEGRAPH POLES! HA HA HA HA HA!

It's all a Joke! Everything anybody ever valued or struggled for... It's all a monstorus demented gag! So why can't you see the funny side? Why aren't you laughing?" - The Joker (BATMAN: THE KILLING JOKE)

Yes, I felt like typing out a random Joker quote.

I think the whole rating thing is the designers pissed because they changed the rating of oblivion after the topless mod came out.

See, what I find humorus about the oblivion thing is that the file isn't in the game to begin with. It wasn't like with GTA where the developers had the file in there, and someone just unlocked it. Someone went into the files and edited one of the game's art files to create the topless skin. The game shouldn't have been rated M for that, it wasn't a design thing. It was some perverted idiot that decided it would be cool to have naked females in the game. Ironically, there are games that this has happened to who's rating was never changed:

A few off the top of my head
(1) The sims (Rated T)
(2) The sims 2 (Rated T)
(3) Half Life 2 (Rated M)
(4) Morrowind (Rated T)

And as I think of it there may have been a Tomb Raider game as well... But I'm not certain on that one.

And to make this an official triple post:

If the ESRB really wants to go all-out on rating what people other than the company that developed (Insert game name here) then they should start rating Online interactions... that would give all online games M ratings.

For example:

Game unknown
(Saw this on TV one time. Cencored as it was on the show)
Gamer: It's called Third World Girls Gone Wild, you got that? Third World Girls Gone Wild. I mean they have (Beep) hair down to their (Beep). It's (Beep)n awesome!

(Witnessed this personally- Christmas day)

HALO 3
Gamer #1: Did everyone have a merry christmas?
Gamer #2: YOU F***** W**** SHUT THE F*** UP OR I WILL F****** COME FIND YOU AND RIP YOUR GOD D*** D*** OFF AND FEED IT TO MY F****** DOG! F*** YOU!
Gamer #1: Woa dude, calm down, I didn't mean to upset you. sorry.
Gamer 2: YOU F****** D*** WELL BEST BE SORRY YO F****** W****. F*** YOU ALL. (Quits Game)
(He obviously didn't have a very merry christmas.)

I actually partied up with Gamer 1 to see if he would do the christmas thing again... he did...

Gamer 1: Everyone have a merry christmas?
NEW Gamer 2: I celebrate Kwanza.
Gamer 3: What the hell is Kwanza?
Gamer 2: You don't know what Kawanza is? You F****** racist.
Gamer 3: What?
... ... ... I forgot the rest of the conversation, but it did consist of alot of profanity.

I use the names Gamer 1, 2, and 3 because I'm horrible at remembering gamertags.
