i learned in my humanities class, that there was supposedly a mix up when the men were calculating the years, and 'judgment day' (or w/e its called) could either be sooner, or later on in years.
i believe its a theory, but i took that class last year with 8 other classes, so i cant back up where to go to find the sources.
