Yea, but hey, it's fiction. Unfortunately there are people who don't realise that.
My favorite is when a friend of mine went to Europe (It was shortly after the DaVinci code came out in theaters) and people were looking at the Mona Lisa (I think) and asking if you held a black light up to the painting if you will see anything written.
More proof to my belief that humans are inherently stupid.
Even in the movie it was the curator who wrote that stuff on the painting. Idiots.
