i went to a blink-182 concert. my 1st concert. my 1st fav band. best night of my life.
but it was the WORST "day" of my life.
wok eup at my friends apartment and went outside, to see my car is not int he visitors parking lot anymore... the f***ers towed my f***ing car.
they decided to change the parking lot and only put specific lanes for VISITORS, and i got to her apartment at night, and with no signs standing up saying what were specifically visitors, i dint see the areas painted on the red fire line, saying "visitors" and the apartment complex didnt notifiy my friend on their change either and shes been there for about 6 months.
we go to the towing place to get my car out, they say its $253 to get it dow, until 12am then it doubles in price. ... we're college students, we dont have $250 we can spend... so im crying like a gad damn baby, bcuz i did NOT want to call my parents and tell them what happened bcuz i didn't feel like being blamed for something i had no control over. not like they could of done anything anyways, bcuz i was 2 hours from home.
my boyfriend made some calls, a workers of his put the money in his bank account, my friend called her MOM (who i consider to be my 'God Mother'😉 she called the apartment complex, and BITCHED at them, and then called the towing company bcuz they mistreated me... all bcuz its freezing out side, and i rang the bell on the window a couple of time to say "HEY IM HERE!" and this old blond b**** who thought she was cute or some shit, looks at me, and walks right away... hellow we were out there for 10 minutes and no one would come to the window. Im going to be ringing the bell more than once. dumb shits.
when we got the call my bf's friend got the money int he account, we went to the concert... while standing in line to get in, i get a text from my friend mom telling her Not to pay that place jack for my care, and to call her.
after concert, we got my car out for free, ate at iHOP, drove home. got back at 5am.

I would say you should sue them, but you have no case since they fulfilled their obligation of informing people by writting "Visitors" on the side-walk. What they should have done was (1) put up actual signs and (2) Informed ALL the people who lived there. If you had a really good attourney you could at a minimum get it past summary judgement, and possibly win, but by then you have spent so much on the lawyer that the pennies you will get aren't worth the trouble...
