I thought father of the bride is supposed to pay for the wedding. hmm
I think it depends on what part of the country you are from. Out here in western Kansas we split everything down the middle EXCEPT the dinner, each side pays for their own guests at the dinner. So my daughter got married 3 years ago and we had 400 guests. In our case it was split 3 ways because her father and I are divorced. My share was 7 grand. I could not imagine shelling out the entire cost of the wedding myself. 😑

i want to know where spring went....Spring in TX is only in the month of March... soon as its April, pollen falls eVeRyWhErE, and BOOM 80-90*F.
Outside right now is not a problem for me, it's when I'm inside because I swear this house was built by idiots who didn't know how to insulate properly. In winter it is freezing downstairs and fine upstairs (which doesn't bother me because I like the cold) but the rest of the year it's fine downstairs but like a sauna upstairs. The problem with that is that I spend most of my time upstairs whether I am playing video games, studying, or online. So I spend a good portion of the year in a stinking sauna.
And sleeping is preposterously hard anytime other than winter, because it's so hot and stuffy in my sauna/bedroom that I end up staying awake until 2-3 am, which really sucks on tuesdays and thursdays when I have to get up at 7am to make it to class on time.
Needless to say, I can't wait to get an apartment that is properly insulated.
