she kind of made me angry when she gave him a hug bcuz she hasn't seen or spoke to her son in over 8 years and she just acted like she had seen him every day. maybe i'm just a dramatic person. i would expect a long hug and maybe eye watering from seeing her little boy now a grown man, but whatever i guess.

Interesting family you're wedding into...

its a big family, not all are messed up like his mom. His family's not perfect, but the ones who are around mean well. they're not like murderers or anything. and majority live up north. My familys not any better, mine just has drama that doesn't stop.

I'm going to be happy when I don't have to take this pain pill. I don't like feeling like my arms are heavy and being sluggish. It makes me a little delerious and slightly blurs my vision. . I only take it at night so the jaw pain doesn't keep me awake all night. Had to wake my mom up at 4am last night to get me something.

any body have Netflix?

[Nosferatu] is playing.

Nope.

Which Nosferatu was playing? Murnau's or Herzog's?

Murnau's. its the original.

check out that tobacco pipe.

its an okay film... Chaplin's movies are better directed. just sayin.

Hmmm dunno... I loved this one. It's much more cinematic than Chaplin. Chaplin is more focused on the actor's performance to tell the story.

i understand these movies are antiques and actors act differenttly than they do today witht he last of sound, and blah blah.. im just not into the whole shock expressions.

i liked the actor who played Count Orlok. for a vampire he seemed to be sane character with his acting.

It's amazing how so many old techniques applied in films back then are still used in today's standard.

Indeed.

And the actor's called Max Shreck. There's funny recent movie about the making of that film: Shadow of the Vampire. You should check it out.

No, Max Schreck (with a c) is the actor who played Orlok, he only needed false teeth and pointy ears... the director thought Schreck was already ugly enough on his own.
Max Shreck like you wrote it, is a character from the Batman franchise (played by Christopher Walken) but is thus also one ugly actor.

So it's Max Shrek?

It was a typo.
