anyone have a hi res ObiWan lightsaber pic from ep1?

my sister's bf's son is really into to star wars and love Obi Wan. i want to photo shop out the giant, plastic, walmart lightsaber. and make him look la-git.

a non lit, straight on side shot of it would be great.

It does. It's picture have more clarity and resolution than the video though.

nephew inlaw (i suppose i can call him that now)

well i was posting a photo but KMC doesnt like links anymore.

My little man, looking pimp.

wow hes big. is he like 8 months now?

Another week and a half and he'll be 8 months.

Ladies, watch out.

well i bought my 5d mark ii.... ive waited a year for the mark iii but i suppose the damage to canon corp in japan will delay it for some time. i can deal with that.

i'm broke weep

And you still need a couple of good lenses...

i have my ef 50mm 1.2.

the only lens im looking to buy is possibly a wide angel.

Why not get a decent zoom lens, you'll have a bit more range. I have the EF 24-70mm 2.8L .. Great lens for filming and you're a bit more flexible.

i want a wide angle mostly for night shots and when I'm taking photos in small rooms. i've always been into star trails in the sky. my teacher let me take a picture with his on our camping trip last month. it was awwwesome being able to zoom out to show so much area of the landscape.i coudl really use that when im tkaing pictures at a wedding with a lot of people..

i also really lov the distortion is causes in close up portraits.

For photography that is very nice indeed. For filming it can be great as well... however it can be distracting if there is too much distortion in movement or shapes...

A cameraman I work with has a wide lens, an 8 mm... It allows him to go from very wide angle to a full fish eye.

so last January my friends 1yr old daughter went under surgery to have a bad kidney removed... the surgeon removed both kidneys and didnt tell anyone.... long story short: today her daughter(now 2) went under surgery again with a new kidney, donated by a old friend of mine, and its functioning.

and Queeq, do you use DSLRs? im reserching what wideangle lens i should keep in mind.

I didn't know you could live without a kidney.

She's been living a nightmare. its really effected her growth but she's very strong baby. There have been countless scares of her health dropping. but Ronald McDonald's Children Hospital has treated her so well. $15 a day for her to live there. and its "normal" life style there. they give those children so much. I can't wait to see her, and see life back in her eyes, and no tubes in her stomach.

i took a picture of her last May.

hey all jus saying hi....

Hey JD!

I work with them often, yes. With cameramen BTW. But we usually don't use wide angle lenses because we use them mainly because of their shallow depth of field. With wide angle lenses that disappears. But I can ask around if you want.

i think i'm goign to hold off on the wideangle and save up for a rain cover for my camera and lens. im looking up Aquatech and ThinkTank. but i dont find a cover for my lens.. 😖
