I just got out of the ER. Thought I broke my arm, thankfully it's not. However, it's a bad sprain. An 8 foot long, 2x10 piece of solid oak fell on me. Almost hit my head, but I "caught" it with my arm and big toe.

I've got a nice big bump on the elbow right now. I can't even pick up my infant son, so I have no idea how I'm going to get my daughter out of bed and into her wheelchair in the morning.

Tried to call my sister-in-law to help me out for the next few days while the fiancee is at work, but she didn't answer her phone.

Just getting into trouble. 😛

Found out that the pain medication they gave me has a rare known side effect of hallucinations. I found out the hard way. Last night I kept waking up and at one point I thought the house was on fire.

And the you saw an oak and thought it was a beautiful woman?

Just left the dentist. The wisdom teeth went bye bye. Only took a half hour or so to yank 4 teeth.

Didn't need to be gassed or anything except novacaine.

You're getting immune? Or do you start liking the pain?

I hate pain. Main reason I procrastinated getting my teeth fixed for so long.

It's just that the novacaine truly numbed my mouth up good. The numbness lasted nearly 5 hours.

Some Star Wars related posting: ArrCee has a collection of Darth Vader figures and toys in his room. A couple of them have buttons on their chests to activate the breathing. Well...ArrCee now imitates Darth Vader's sounds when he plays with the toys.

Thanks. She has a second surgery later this week. They are brain surgeries.

We're approaching 2 weeks of her being in the ICU.

Awwe..... poor girl. Hang in there, Lance, tough tough times.

Second surgery is being held off until Monday...hopefully. She puked a few times today, so that may throw a wrench into the plans to get the second surgery taken care of.

You must spend a lot of time in the hospital these days.
