Storm - will she take us by storm?

look stormfront... i know you love storm, i do too, shes one of my favourite x-men... but thats what they are... x-men... they are meant to be vulnerable, they arent the avengers... they're meant to be the most human of all the hero groups in marvel (in the way that they have personal problems and relationships and such), thats what makes them great, the fact that no matter how hated they are that they keep on doing their best...

i would rather see interesting stories about their lives and the day to day troubles that they face living in a world like this... if all of the xmen become god like it will ruin them imo...

i've always believed storm to be one of the more powerful xmen, but shes part of a whole, the xmen were always a team that were more than the sum of their parts...

they arent like the jla who can win most fights alone, the xmen need each other, they need colossus' strength, cyclops' leadership, storms versatility, beast's intelligence and so forth, thats what made me love them in the first place...

i know thats why i love them also -they all need eachother. i was just talking about storm being able to do things that the writers haven't shown in the cimics. i don't want her reaching her full tential either cause then she'd be super powerful. i don't like the way that they up-graded iceman. now he is like unbeatable and he doesn't really need the x-men but he stays anyway cause they are a family and all rely on one another and need one another

To be honest i've never believe storm to be capable of much more than she's shown recently... I always believed she'd grow and evolve, but that her powers would become stronger and more devastating, though not change their form that much...

I've always been an iceman fan, but even i was surprised and a little disappointed when i saw what they were doing... not that his powerup isnt welcome, just that a lot of writers are going to abuse the hell out of him now...

But there is such a thing as too much...

yeah i agree that there is too much developing of characters. and i do't want storms powers to change but just utilizing all the affects of the weather to do smaller things that she hasn't

um.. can storm create a force field?? just create a tornado around herself and then give it some water like the ones that happen in the ocean and then throw some lightning it?? wouldn't that work?? i mean it won't last long but it will protect her from attacks for a certain amount of time

i think Storm can sheild herself..she can create pressure domes or something to deflect attacks..

alright i just got info that storm just developed a danger sence that works like a spider sence. it was described in the x-men and fantastic four mini-series. what do you guys think of thisaZ??

watda hell? a danger sense? thats just dumb imo....if they starting doing all these things to storm, they're gonna ruin one of the greatest characters in X-men and possibly marvel history....why overkill!? she's perfect the way she is...all this nonsense about all these other 'powers' is crap....LEAVE HER ALONE! >__<

thats what i say idk why they even gave her one. maybe its her magic side taking over. now of yhey were gonna give her extra powers then they should make them magical cause that makes sence but a danger sense doesn't at all
