I've always wanted Magneto to have a secondary mutation. But, it's kind of hard to come up with one. I mean, in my comic reading hay day(is that right?) he was basically a force of nature. Story lines like Fatal Attractions portray him as almost unbeatable. Now, I rarely read any X-Men comics, because there is no continuity. There's ..well..no point. I really liked where The New X-Men was going...UNTIL the whole Magneto on drugs and Wolverine chopping his head off. I guess, for me, X-Men has always been about Magneto. 90% of my comic collection is issues that he appears in. Morrison decided to take a character that has 40 years of history and wipe away all the advances in his character. In fact, I really liked the Planet X story line. But, Grant Morrison took a really cool idea and decided to write it with a grudge against Magneto.
These days, I think it would be best for a new title to come out that is written with the same perspective as the movies. I can sacrifice a lot of Magneto's abilities as long as the rest do too. Magneto controls metal, and only does so in a reality based way. Wolverine doesn't survive being tossed into the sun. Etc. I think Bryan Singer approached the X-World in teh best and most intelligent way....and that perspective shouldn't go away.

Your opinion is cool with me. I liked that Xorn was Magneto. But, I don't like anything that happened after he revealed himself. It was very cool in my opinion. Very intelligent and devious on Magnetos part. But, there in lies my problem. I know X-Men has more in common with Science Fiction than it does with non-fiction. But, to expect this universe to apply to our own, there has to be some sense. And that's why I love how the movies have been executed. I think that sense of reality should stick around.
That's not right. I like Logan a lot.
I think Dr. Jean grey will have a secondary Mutation.
near the end of the 2nd x-men it shows her faintly in the water
as some kind of Bird sort of. but then at the school professor xavier
senses Dr. grey, and He says yes everything is fine. she is going to come back as something.

I agree with you totally. But, rather than nature, the secondary mutation process will come from the effects of Magneto's device in the first movie. I have this notion in my head that she will be found by the government while they're investigating the inncident at Alkali Lake. But, I hope she's a child...and unconcious for the first third of the movie. It's a good opprotunity to introduce both the Hellfire Club and X-Factor. If she's a child at the beginning of the movie, then that introduces a more believable aspect of the secondary mutation. Then, she can be a child that matures quickly, and by the end of the movie, she should be an adult.
