If I had to pick a specialist game area, mine would be fighting games. Did you even read what I said. Im not saying I beat Mags, Im saying I beat alot of people that pick mags but dont know what the F they are doing. Im not debating about the tiers, Im just saying you need to know how to play them. And you didnt address my question on tiers. Im not saying they should be ranked high, Im asking why rank them on the same level as kobun, someone that has NOTHING when Dan/Gief have at least SOMETHING. NOBODY is gonna walk in a tourneyment and win with Dan/Gief. Im saying why rank them on the bottom when they have more stuff to offer than Kobun, who's only claim to fan is he has a super that can do alot of chip in the right circumstances.
And I say Jin isnt too bad unless you whiff his supers, and your counter is Jin sucks because you can whiff his supers. Jin's supers do no chip, why would I even do one if it wont hit. But Im NOT argueing the fact that he has lots of lag time on his supers, I came out and said it. So showing me that Jin has lag time on his supers is a bit pointless, isnt it? Im also not saying Jin is some kinda great character in disguise. Im just saying he's you need to hit his supers, and he has a good AAA. Dont freak out like I just called you a lie or something. Dont freak out and send me articles and crap and talk my ear off about how in the year 2005 the people that havnt moved on to other games have figured out how Sents can cancel his pinky toe into reflying whoodey-who and all that junk, Im not even TALKING about that stuff.

My bad; To tell you the truth, I only read your post once and I forgot a lot of what you said when I was typing my response.
Well, my bottom tiering was based more on characters AROUND the same level. Dan and Zangief do have a little more to offer but not by a longshot. Remember, Kobun still has his size which does make it harder for other characters to combo him; which is another strenght that he has not just his chippping super. You wouldn't believe the limited things can actually hit him and actually take the fullest extent of the damage. Again, I KNOW Dan and Zangief are better than Kobun (but not by a whole lot), my tiering isn't about what character is at EXACTLY or the same level as another character. It's mostly a rough but fair estimate as far as my opinion goes. Plus, I don't really feel to break down every character to it's exact frame, etc.

All I was pointing out is that IF you think this game is still the same as back then, then you're kinda wrong. You MIGHT have already known this, but I always like pointing things out just in case they don't. And I wasn't "freaking" out. I just linked a webpage and you call that freaking out? Strange.

Im just saying he's you need to hit his supers, and he has a good AAAWell, he can't combo his Blodia Vulcan without an assist and has diffuculty comboing his other 2 supers. So good luck getting someone with that. A way to use his Blodia Vulcan well is to DHC into it. It will even beat out Storm's Hailstorm if you use a instant startup super into DHC. Some good damaging supers but difficult to apply. But his AAA is good tho you're right about that.

Ryu is a man with reasonably high agility and an ability to shoot fireballs. Hulk is a 10 plus foot tall living, breathing engine of destruction who lifts mountains.

Yeah I agree with what ya say. Kobun's size is an advantage, but I never considered it substantial since his attacks damage do extremely little anyway.
You'd actually be surprised at Zangief's power on alot of characters. His air throw is gives him good mobility, and it recovers in the air really fast. After the throw you can go into his D+HP body splash, which has a good priority. If they try to hit you on the way down, the splash connects, where you can go into ducking lp, lp, luanch, and then Zangiefs' lp lk hk air combo. Its shorter than most peoples air combo, but does good damage. Then you got his throws and stuff. Gief can hold his own against alot of the cast, until you get to the high fliers and the top tiers and stuff. Then of course, HEs the one that gets shut down.
