it didnt stop him, he was just in it...it would be like dropping Colossus in the deepend....he would be out of comission til he climbed out...however, since Jug has demonstrated a mystical inertia-propulsion, a tactic like that would be even less effective...Jugs would just be propelled right up through it at a constant rate.
juggs got stopped.....he got stopped when he was stuck in the cement long enough to declare a victory.....it's like how doomsday might die in a battle and come back ready to kick ass....he still lost the initial battle didn't he?...it's the same thing.....If onslaught can punch him from canada to new jersey, DD would send him out of the damn stratosphere...
When has Hulk not been strong enough? and Warpath is a class 100+ fighter. Doomsday's been beaten and so have Hulk and Juggernaut. Essentially it depends on how it is written. But regardless the definition of Hulk and Juggernaut's powers would make them unbeatable against another purely physical combatant. Im just trying to be honest. Im not spouting bias opinions like "Hulk would knock DD head off" or "Doomsday's poison bone spikes would rip Juggernaut to shreds!"...I jus think it would be an endlessly long battle that would have to be decided by some plot twist other than one individual bludgeoning the other to death.
Ok how do yall figure that Hulk can beat DD, DD is as invulnerable as Superman without the weaknesses, in his first appearance he was stated to be as quick as the flash and DD stregth also increases during a fight he keeps growing as strong as he needs to be to beat his opponent.
I have seen fights where it has taken the Hulk 3 days to even reach Supermans stregth level so how do you figure that DD can beat the Hulk.
What's Doomsday goign to do? Advance on them?
As long as there's Juggernaut, Hulk will always be in the fight because he will always have the time to regenerate more cheesed off than ever.
And if Juggernaut didn't keep getting his abilities erased, he could shrink DD then shoot bolts at his boney caboose.

I'd really like to see where it was stated, or shown, or proved, that Doomsday was as fast as the Flash. Anything but word of mouth, please. There are many, many, myths surrounding the character.
Hulk has attained the strength level of a Celestial in less than a minute. There is no specific linear equation for his strength increases, it just occurs. The more Hulk exerts himself, the stronger he becomes. He could out-muscle Doomsday in mere moments.
Doomsday's strength hasn't ever been quantified. All that is known is that he's stronger than Superman. So is Hulk. Doomsday isn't stronger than the Hulk, and no one has even attempted to prove that he is.
Doomsday's adaptations make him more durable, not stronger.
It's pretty stupid that every time Doomsday's name comes up in a thread, he gets a gazillion lives to use during the fight. One and your done. If he can't win the fight without dying, he can't win. It's just that simple.

Doomsday withstood the blast of 1000 nuclear bombs? What's your point? Hulk or Juggernaut could do the same, and either of the two could defeat him one-on-one.
