I've read a lot of descriptions for hitler on this thread from "genius" to "visionary" to "great orator" but the one word which has been posted missing and which sums him up best is "c*nt".

Nah, Hitler was not a derogatory slang term for a vagina. He was insane, true, cruel and heartless, yes. He was an evil upon the world, is a stain that plagues our history...but he was not a ****.

If he did indeed commit suicide then i would say that he would infact be a pu*sy.

Let's just say that he could be described as being any of the obscene body parts.

Hitler was a f*cking dolt!
Wow! Such insighteful and daring views! Boy, you guys really are going
out on a limb here.
Please, Hitler is the most over-demonized man in history. What he
did was terrible, but many others did terrible things as well. That
he and his regime happened to come at a time when technology
allowed killing on such a massive scale, cannot be blamed on him.
Had the Nazis lived a hundred years earlier, then there wouldn't
have been so many killed, and vice-versa for living today.
Furthermore, there isn't a single thing that the Nazis did, which was
not done (and would often be done since) by others, including
the British, French, Russians, and American (and the Israelis), who
since the war have lead the world in the demonization of the Nazis
for the crimes they committed.
Genocide? Done before. Ask the Turks, ask the British, ask the
American.
Unprovoked aggression? Ask almost every single nation and
peoples on earth, since all societies in history have launched wars
of aggression at one time or another in their history, Russia and
Poland included. I needn't bring up a certain war taking place
as we speak.
Invasion and occupation? Ditto.
Empire-Building? Ditto. Furthermore, the same British and
Frenchmen who were whining and crying over Germany's
occupation of France and other countries, were themselves to
resume their brutal occupation of their pre-war colonies. In
fact, many of the same Frenchmen who were involved in the
(highly over-rated) "French Resistance", would go on to commit
many of the worst crimes of the last 50 years on the Algerian
people.
Mass-bombing and killing of civilians? Same as above. An old
practice in war, perfected in modern times by the US Airforce
(man-for-man, "pound-for-pound", the most effective mass
killing machine in history).
Racism and prejudice? Old news. Ask the British, they were
the first to master the use of race to justify all sorts of criminality.
Nothing exemplified this better than the over-rated Winston
Churchill. He ranted and raved over German aggression, but
fought tooth-and-nail to maintain British imperial control over the
world. He condemned German crimes, but felt it was perfectly
okay to use poison gas to suppress colonial resistance ("I do not
understand this squeamishness about the use of gas. I am strongly
in favor of using poisoned gas against uncivilized tribes."😉.
Bottom line: For anyone to single out the Nazis as the epitome of
evil, while ignoring the preceding as well as following human
history (especially of those "victors" of WWII), is either ignorance,
or a peculiar and intense hatred of Germans in particular.

Very well said. I agree with everything you said, with one exception. It is legitimate to assign the term 'evil' to Hitler. Not the epitome, but the term applies. It may not be his fault that technology advanced at the time, but his use of that technology to his own ends makes him evil. And yes, as I have said before, the atrocities commited by the Nazis wasn't original. In fact, it was the British that invented the concentration camp.

actually, I think you'll find that the Jews beat us to it...... as did the Greeks, Romans, Scythians.....
Normally I'd agree with you on the ancient Israelites, but
what they felt was not so much racism, as it is basic tribal
"xenophobia". Something that is common among many
tribal peoples. Ofcourse, unlike other tribal peoples who
usually abandone such a world-view after urbanization and
civilization, the Israelites continued to hold these views
even after settling down.
The Greeks and Romans (don't know about Scythians, not
much known about them in history anyway) didn't have
any racial prejudices, it was all about culture. many of Rome's
greatest emerors weren't even Roman (or Italian), but from
other backgrounds, but they got support, as long as they
worked well, and showed respect to Rome's State religion.
whats the real difference between xenophobia and racism...??? And yes, I agree, the Roman Empire wasn't racist, just as America is not.... but there were racists there... if I remember correctly, several members of the Senate advocated the complete wiping out of every Carthaginian simply on the basis that "they're all the same..." And yes, I am English.. my point was that we English didn't invent racism and prejudice... those things have been with us since time immemorial....

I didn't say that the British invented racism, I said that the British
Empire was the first one (as far as I know) to use race as a
justification for colonialism and crimes that they commited around
the world. It was from among the British that one got the term "the
white man's burden".
The Spanish and Portugues Empires, from what I've seen, was
largely based on the excuse of spreading the Christian faith
(whether or not they believed this is not the point, neither is the
fact that individual spaniards saw themselves are ethnically
superior). Besides, it would have been tough for a spaniard or
a portugues to claim racial superiority after seeing all the great
accomplishments or arabs/muslims in his country, the Ottomans
in the eastren Mediterranean, or the Maya and Inca civilizations.
Maybe you should read how America's destructive war against the
natives of north america was taken up from the british. Or about
british policy towards australia's aboriginies, or the enslavement
and happy abuse towards the southern african Xhosa peoples, or
maybe you can check out your (the british peoples that is) hero,
Winston Churchill's views on using poison gas against rebelling
"uncivilized tribes".
As for individual Roman "racism", maybe there were such
individuals, but it was not a widespread attitude, nor was is state
policy. Rome itself was to be rules by a phoenician emperor
Septimius Severus, who was well respected (and he was prous
of his punic heritage, even buidling a monument to Hannibal in
northern Anatolia).
Hitler was a hero in the eyes of some Germans and his fellow Nazi comrades. He persecuted Jews mainly as Jews greatly affected Germany in WW1 and after that. He hated the Jews mainly becoz of this. There could be some other reasons for such hatred towards the Jews. Germany had lost land to her neighboring nations after WW1 and Hitler wanted to reclaim them, as well as forge a new Nazi Empire for Germany. The other nations were unhappy with Hitler's politics and went to war against him. I personally support Adolf Hitler. To tell you the truth, my grandfather was once a Nazi.
