Extremely enjoyable flick. Im sure I will purchase this one on DVD. Maybe see it again in theaters. It is definately a differrent movie than the original. I give it a 8.75/10 ..
Baby Scene:
I think they wanted to show that whole irrational side of the human mind, when someone is tramatized along with the ever so popular killing someone you love zombie scene. I mean pretty much a rip off of the NOTLD scene.
Guy in the gunshop:
While they are spending days playing chess, he should have been shooting zombies in the head. He had unlimited ammo. they could have cleared that whole section before taking the buses. All though that explosion was pretty rad
Spoiler:Hmm. It wouldn't have been more practical, but less entertaining to see Andy snipe out all the zombies over time. Besides, what reason would there be for the lead characters to escape then? If the characters were more practical, and less entertaining, Ana would have known the unlock the window the first time she tried to escape from the bathroom. Instead, she didn't think to unlock the damn thing until AFTER her boy busted through the door.

They needed another scare scene there i guess q:
One of you guys posted about they should have been wearing armor. They could have simply put tape on there limbs leaving there joints for flexibility .. but taped up there arms real good ... how are they going to bite through that ?

I saw it last night, it was good. I liked it more then the original. I think that one guy, the father of the baby, (I don't remember his name) was a sick, crazed, freak. I mean I would have shot her when she died. But no he wanted to have a dead zombie baby
i totally agree (tho that shoulve been posted as a spolier) i understand that he didnt shot her while she was still alive...but once she turned into the creature he should have killed her...and the baby....sick...im glad it died.

saw it... it was sooo gory... it had so much potential. IMO the ending killed the whole movie. i dont know why they didnt explain why ppl where becoming infected/zombiesh. it was enteraining tho. and very funny lol... humor is unique for a horror film
It really isn't that gory compared to some other movies, even the original is far gorier.
Also them not explaining exactly what the 'infection' was or how it was caused was a throwback to the original, they did the same thing in that. Because it simply isn't necessary to know the reason when there's nothign that can be done about it in the first place.
And the humor...well, I don't know what humor you're talking about. I found the remake to be much darker and more seriously then the original. The original is known for its satire and comic book like feel. Thie remake had more in common with the dark mood from Day of the Dead then the original light hearted romp that was the original Dawn of the Dead
