He was warned several times, and in the end got what was coming to him, he should have followed the rules.
How would you like it, if he was allowed to stay, and say you did something similar yet you were banned? If you want something to be fair members should be treated equally.

I'm sorry for what he did too. It did get out of hand, but as was said earlier, that N. guy, is like a god or something to him. And he was trying to say that people were ignorant of the facts, about that guy, not ignorant themselves.
He can be pretty rude to Christians for their beliefs, but to permanently ban someone, seems kinda harsh. I heard that he did say he was sorry........ 🙁

I can also find other members insulting/socking in threads, why are they not banned? Are the moderators ignoring? Or the moderators are not insulted?

Who socked exactly?
Go ahead and tell the mods and they will deal with it.
The whole point of a sock is to be malicious and cause trouble, which alot of them end up doing. If he wasn't able to be good the first time why give him another chance.
And the point of the mods is to deal with problems, however alot of the time they can't be everywhere, that is why there is a report button to alert them if you think someone is socking or etc.
This kind of discussions are not apropriate on the boards, that should be pretty obvious.
If you have any complaints about the way me or WindDancer moderate, then PM the forum administrator, Raz instead of making a thread.
Philosophicus deserved a permanent ban a while back, but we tolerated untill we couldnt tolerate any longer.

Also, just a note for those of you who think Philosophicus was treated unfairly -
He wanst originaly banned permanatly. He was originally banned temporary until he decided, instead of waiting for ban to end, to make an additional account and start bashing. It was then I extended his ban to permanent.
