If I hadn't" met 5 and 6 year old kids who talked about sex, I would say it's too young. But unfortunately they do know about it from a very young age already.. they never learn about it properly they just pick up things here and there. My friend's younger sister strikes me as a perfect example. When I was about 12 or 13 my best friend had a younger sister who was I guess 6 or 7 at the time. She was absolutely the most perverted little kid I have met in my life. She would constantly make references to sex.. and she would go up to neighbors windows and try to peek at them doing it. She is an extreme example, most little kids aren't like that.. but from what I remember most little kids learn about sex at a much younger age then some believe.
I learned about it when I was 5... a girl who lived on our street and was in one of the higher grades told me and all of my friends about it. By the time most kids take sex ed (which is in 5th grade here) they already know all about sex. They probably don't know the risks, don't know the statistics for STD's, because knowing that kinda stuff doesn't make their friends think they are cool. They always learn the vulgar stuff first and then when they finally go to sex ed it's just a big joke. All me and my friends did in sex ed was crack jokes, we weren't interested in learning shit about sex because we believed we already knew it all.
Hahaha.
At 12 years old, they should teach about it. Guys already know what most of the parts are due to kids being older and Playboy but they should still understand the reasons why.
I knew **** and such because I grew up with my older brother and friends who lived on the street who were 3 or 4 years older than I. Thats how I found it. But in school, I found out about birthcontrol and all that stuff.

You and I must live on two totally different worlds, because I almost never understand what you are saying. Please clearify what you're saying.

Plz debate (I, for one, think it's wrong, they're too young)....
Education, education, education...If they are curious about it, it should be explained to them in a manner that is in context with their age.
THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH OUR BODIES AND WHAT WE DO WITH THEM.
