do you realize how boring story's would be if characters actually used all fo their powers to win a fight? if storm yhad done these th9ngs, it wouldn;t have been as good as it was. where was cyke taking off his visor everytime he faces an enemy? why doesn't jean or the professor mind-rape all of their opponents? why doesn't nightcrawler teleport his enemies heads off? why doesn't iceman kill all his enemies. same wih magneto and polaris. why doesn't sue storm just kill all her opponents? johnny storm? the stories would be boring.

and if im used all his powers against storm, it wouldn't have been much of a fight in that book you were referencing earlier. again, we're talking about a guy that absorbed terrax, ss, and thor's power, and has scored ko's over ss, terrax and hulk. his weapons, laser guided armaments, supersonic speed and all 'round smarts are just too much.

i admire your willingness to stand up for storm, sf, in the face of . . . well . . . everyone! but i honestly can't see how she could win this without some poor writing. lightning? emp? just doesn't make sense even if it DID happen. and im has more than enough firepower to penetrate whatever shields she can erect. i'd give her 1/10, so maybe that was her 1?

the point was thaqt characters don;'t go all out due to the fact that it would end up with boring stories.

i am well aware of all this, but judging from the past of these two, storms emp's and lightning has hurt and affected him before. recently in imprefects, she made im scream out in pain from one bolt. i just think it's more even than everyone thinks. i mean, he would be grounded seeing as he has already said that he is no match for her in the skies. i think it's about 50/50 with a slight edge to iron-man.

the fact is, if she did beat him before, he's probably found any weaknesss he had in that encounter and fixed it .... it's what he does

is that sarcasm? if not, then why is everyone so keen on providing instances where iron-man is shown to have great power and it counts, but when something else happens in comics that is beneficial to storm, suddenly comics don't count.

No Offense but saying that since something has happened already shouldn't be the deciding factor especially when it is generally portrayed that IM is a notch above Storm in the power catergor. It has been pointed out that IM absorbed shots on mulitiple occasions from Terrax, Thor, and some others who can dish out more than Storm. Simply because it happened doesn't make it logical in the comicbook world. If we don't have something to judge our arguments by (logic) than we might as well just start typing jiberish because that is all our spouting will amount to.

1)her attacks have recently caused him to scream in pain

3)she has easily blown away mislbefore, and stopped them before

4)she could affect the inside of his armor

5)she is able to control the electricity in machines
