Ryu the wandering Streetfighter against Liu Kang. Defender of Earth against Shao Khan. Who wins this fireball throwing fight to the finish?

Ryu has awesome energy balls, but Liu's fireballs are gifted to him by the elder gods.

Liu Kang cuz his martial art form is faster. Ryu's form is slower in the games

Winning scene.. liu kang goes for a bicycle kick, and ryu does a shin shoryuken to finish the battle..

I've got to say Ryu myself. Although he's slower he definitly has the better fighting style and Liu's speed won't be that much of a factor, Ryu's beaten fast opponents before, Vega anyone? And if the fights going bad he can bust out some super combos on Liu's skinny ass.

Yep, Ryu definately wins. He's stronger, better trained, and push him to far and the dark hado takes over and turns him into Evil Ryu. At which point there won't be enough of Liu left to fill a match box.

I said Liu Earlier, but now I favor Ryu cuz I forgot his massive fireball when his special meter is fully charged.

Kang's been resurrected HOW many times now, shows how much the elder gods depend on him.

Yeah but Ryu only has to knock him out. so resurrection isn't really that big a problem for him.

That big energy ball of Ryu's travels pretty slow...hell, Liu has the time to quickly eat a sandwich and then jump over it.

Yeah but the fire ball's really just a setup to get them in the air for a Dragon Uppercut or as I remember Ryu lovingly calls it. SO-RYO-KEN

Definatly Liu Kang, everyone seems to forget that he has the ability to turn into a dragon, ryu can not

he doesnt do anything with the dragon besides bite.. so ryu would just use a denjin hadoken to stun him.. then he can do whatever he feels like.. I believe ryu defeated Gil in street fighter 3 (a demigod)
