Ryu vs Liu Kang

This website is a good warm up for it.........

Great matchup... they are my two fav characters from both fighting worlds (sf and mk) but id have to go with Ryu

he is simply more powerful.

and can focus better

And has a better desire to win...

in other words, he is far more stronger

I think Ryu would take this one. Kang has alot on his shoulders and has the favours of Rayden, but Ryu's power and potential for expansion far supercede that.

I think ryu could beat raiden, definitrely akuma.

Kang is 2 fast for Ryu,

And if Kang was under MY controll, I would not allow Kang 2 be set up for the dragon punch.
Kang as the speed over Ryu. and Ryu is tone down a LOT in later games. So even speeders like Vega could beat Ryu. and Vega in the games, a SKILL Vega player should have no problem with a Ryu player.

No Kang has no claws lol. But that flying kick could go over Ryu's fireball and hit him in the jaw. That move could catch any one off guard.

if you are talking about game mechanics maybe, but in the games even dan or birdie can beat ryu .Lius b kick wouldnt be anything faster than ryu has already seen, ryu never let his guard down , he focus in the fights more than anyone , and in a theorical fight ryu can dodge bullets easily and can hit more than 15 times and the victim will only be able to notice it after some seconds.Ryu is faster , stronger , has better technichies.

I agree with Hoshi. Every battle that ryu has been in, he's always Focused except for that battle with Ken because there was something bothering Ryu at the time.

the B kick is decent speed, the flying kick, is the fast move for Kang here. Kang can knock a fighter down with it, when a fighter wobbles or doing a fireball, or Ice ball lol.

the b kick can work well , but the shin shoryuken can work a lot better if we are talking about counter attack, even if liu fly over ryus hadouken he would just do a shin shoryuken while liu is doing his b kick
