Really? I found the movie kind of dull. the book seemed better. And I rarely think that for book adaptations. I usually like both.

im like half way through the book and i think its gotten a little bland but i think it might get better because they picked up Ayra(sp) but i'm so glad that Brom died,i hated him! 😱

ouch...that's kinda cruel...he wasn't too realistic though so I didn't care one way or anther...and I guess that's sort of cruel too....so we're even

I thought the movie was alright, but it could have been better - for one thing, it moved WAY too fast.

I'm pissed that Solembum wasn't in it. He was my favorite character after Saphira and Angela.

They pulled it off and it's all that matters. You could do much worse spending your money elsewhere.

The movie sucked ass. Everyone blew in it. Murtagh had like 10 lines, the fight was way too rushed, durza had his own shadow dragon, murtagh's scar was like, a surgical incision... No Solembum.

It Blew Ass. Book kicked ass.

Meh. The book was okay. It's on my favorite list, but low on it. It's after The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe, but before LOTR.

The book is really good. But the movie is the worst "book movie" ever. Everything is wrong in it : Saphira is ugly, Arya should not eather be so ugly, roran is going away from the village because of marrige and not "because he does not want to join the army". The king of the varden should not be black, the varden should not look so "arabish" or what that movie maker wanted them to look like...The dwarfs should not look like a short human. And the dwarf king had a hammer not a bloody stick. And what the hell was durza riding on? That demon thing should not even be in the movie, the varden king should die. And the almost worst, the urgals should NOT look like fat humans...It's a lot more I dont want to wright down.

first, it's spelled write. Second, How can you even like the book. Third, the movie kept me awake better than the book. 4th, Arya was gorgeous.

Ok, maybe arya was not so bad, but if you have read the book you would think the same as I do...

Eragon was okey, but it was only good and caught my attention at about from the middle of the book to the end... I enjoyed reading Eldest much more. And whatever idiot sais the movie is better then the book should actually READ the movie, and then VIEW the movie. The movie was bullcrap, they changed arya's appearence, made the dragon look gay, and gave Eragon some stupid hair and dress. They completelly missed the whole point of the book, skipped too many parts, and totally disregarded how the charachters were described in the book. Even the game Eragorn surpassed the movie. However, I must add, I did imagine Varden be a little tan looking, BUT NOT ARABIAN. WTF where they thinking when they were making the movie? Saphira is blue you retarded filmmaker, thats why they call her Saphira! NOT black with little tint of blue.
