Yea it's a pretty good book. I have to say I prefer Harry Potter to the Inheritance Triology though. And you'll see what happens with the Eragon/Arya thing in Eldest.

Sorry if you thought that was Spam - just excited about the movie I guess.I have a question
Why aren't Arya's ears pointed?
and why is Galbatorix being played by Malcovich when the character's not in the book?
What's the deal there?
Arya's ears aren't pointed because they feel it will distract the audience from her "beautiful" face. 😐
They need another big actor apart from Jeremy Irons, who, might I add, does not fit the part at all.

can't remember if i posted here or not, probably did.
anyway, i thought it was a grand book, if not imature and abit of faugery going on, Though remind yourselves that Starwars was stolen from LOTR and LOTR was stolen from some old school book no one cares about 😄.
Yeah, he's one hell of a robber 😐
I've just started reading the first book of the Inheritance trilogy and it does show potential. At first i was a bit wary of the book, but soon became obsessed with trying to find out what happens next. I wonder how they'll adapt this to a movie because in the beginning and middle they're just mostly wandering around, but I'll just have to wait until December 15th to find out, eh? I might go to the store on Friday and purchase "Elder" 😊
I've heard it's around July 2007 - or summer at least- but yeah nothing confirmed. The sooner the better I would say.
I guess they do need another big name actor - I think that may be a bit cynical. I like to think that it was necessary for the movie cause its not a book etc. etc. dramatically and all the rest of it. Have we disscussed the poster? I like the posters

I'm not sure if there was a discussion on the poster, but I like it anyways also. I wish I could get the ones in the theaters 👇 I noticed in the one where Arya is by herself (you can see it in the d/l's section on the movie site), that the magic coming from her hands is blue, though in the Eragon book her magic is red. I haven't read Eldest yet, so I'm not sure if there is a different colour for each spell or whatnot 😕
