it wont happen period, you cant simply perform electrolysis on all the moisture in the area by shooting lightning from your hands (even though it is hotter than the sun's surface). It doesnt work like that I'm afraid.

I agree Storm loses. Electrolysis could potentially destroy Iceman but she can't perform the level of widescale electrolysis that would be required.

yes, lightning is hotter than the surface of the sun, and i get all my facts about the weather from a book, so i doubt they are wrong.

Ah yes, hotter than the coolest part of the sun. I just hope you know the written word isn't infallible.

storm has this hands down

this maybe a stupid question, but can storm freeze ice man with a ice storm or something of that nature??

^ No because Ice man's body is basically ice form when he uses his powers. So, no it is not possible. His body is already colder than anything Storm could try to freeze him with.

yeah but say if storm was able to freeze him to a block of ice, he wouldent be stong enought to break out..maybee

^ That wouldn't happen because she isn't capable of flash freezing. She doesn't have a freeze beam either. She just creates arctic snows and winds with sub-zero temperatures.

woh!

Her recent adventures in Uncanny dispute that.

My point was that Storm doesn't posses anything that is colder than Ice Man and thus couldn't flash freeze him.

She could beat him by shattering his ice form and then dispersing the fragments with wind. At a distance he wont be able to freeze her blood, she has to be within range. With a top speed of 408 mph she'll have no problem putting distance between herself and him.

^ I never said that Ice Man would beat her. I think Storm would anhilate him. I just simply said that she couldn't freeze him.

Why not? He might be immune to cold temperatures but i cant see why he cant still be wrapped up in a block of ice. He cant manipulate ice in and of itself only create it in waves determined by himself so i dont see why that wouldnt work temporarily, although he could draw on moisture from the block to enlarge his ice form to eventually break free. Either way that would be nothing but a stalling measure, it wouldnt give Storm a win at all. Shattering and dispersing him is the best bet as stated in his bio the potential first shown in X-men Forever isnt something Bobby has learned to pull off regularly as part of his repertoire.

Uh actualy he can manipulate ice.He can water to the other states of matter, which is irrelevant since the fight doesn't last more than 3 seconds.

look at the respect thread. He has transmuted water and ice before. He can and DOES control water in all forms, not just create it. Besides Storm does not know about icemans mouisture inversion. In fact not many X-men do besides toad, mystique, jean, and juggs.

Iceman freezes her and then let's gravity shatter her corpse....

Pre-Decimation I would say Iceman, but now I would say Storm.
