Pierce Brosnan was supposed to be Bond in 1987 but had to turn it down due to his contract with Remington Steel.

I knew that 😄 that's when they found Timothy 😐

who was already going to replace Moore earlier on but he signed for new movies

Carole Bouquet (Melina) was originally supposed to play Holly Goodhead in Moonraker. She passed it up because she was already signed to do the film That Obscure Object of Desire. When she got the opportunity to be in For Your Eyes Only she jumped at the chance.

those people always sign this thing then the other, then they change mind... 😖

she can't help it if that offer came first

George Lazeby turned down the seven movie contract because he was told that Bond was a "Woodstock Character"!!!!

why are you defending her? 😛

what does Woodstock Character mean? 😖

cause it was an unfair comment

dunno 😑

I think it wasn't 😖

the character?

no, the comment, unfair 😖 many actors are undecided and such...

well, if they ask someone first, then they go to the first one, not the one who asks later

no, cause they end up cancelling contracts and such

and these days people are smart enough to put clauses in it that makes them pay a lot if they brake up their contract

hmm, better stay ontopic 😖

In order to accomodate crowds, New York's Paramount Theatre ran Thunderball 24 hours a day!!

that's a lot of time 😑

yeah, but still, I don't think it's a record, cause ie, in the city I live in, Star Wars: A New Hope ran also 24h/day for a full year

I once saw a double bill of GOLDFINGER and FOR A FEW DOLLARS MORE at a revival house...now them were the days when one got value for money going to the cinema... 😮‍💨

too true unfortunatly
