but let's get back to funfacts... 😄
I'll post some for a change! from DaD...
1. Director Lee Tamahori had publicly stated that he wanted to be the first to show 007 having sex and actually went as far as to film some steamy scenes between Bond and Miranda Frost. 😖
2. This is the first movie since Live and Let Die to not feature Desmond Llewelyn. cry
3. The British Airways flight attendant who serves Bond his vodka martini is played by Roger Moore's daughter, Deborah. 😱

Lee Tamahori is a native of New Zealand. ✅ And he previously directed the excellent ONCE WERE WARRIORS and MULLHOLLAND FALLS. 🙂
just read this:
Two lines in the film sugest that Bond in second-in-command of the MI6. the first is when Bond tries to access the file about Electra's kidnapping, and the computer says 'level 1 access required'. The 2-I-C would logicly have level 1 access, however, Bond then says to M, "You're the only one who could have sealed that file", implying that Bond has the second-highest security clearance. Then, after the pipeline explodes, Robinson says to Bond "M is missing. I am awaiting instructions." Again, if the head of the service disappears, then the 2-I-C takes over, and the fact that Robinson went directly to Bond again implies that Bond is 2-I-C of the MI6.
