((OOC: They’d get along too well if you asked me, everyone around them would be preety much screwed. Though animeboy, I didn’t have anything planned out for once so that was cool))
It was the end of the world. Christmas had been cancelled. All killing was now punishable by death. It was only a tip to the emotions Yuri had been feeling, the devastation at finding out Xornon would be spared, the fact that she would not be permitted to do her job.
Even as she watched him turn to exit, Yuri felt the urge to kill surging through her being. And even if she had no formal consent…who’s to say it wasn’t possible for him to have ‘accidentally’ stumbled into the light? A blade happening to accidentally impale him as he slept?
Catching Khimaria’s words in a disbelieving gaze, Yuri struggled to find any words, any reason to still kill him. “I…he has not proven himself untrustworthy…nor has he proven himself useless. But, he,” Yuri slammed her fist into the wall, a dust cloud erupting in the air. “I can not approve of your decision! Whilst near all our kind was decimated, like a child, he ran off in hiding with the humans. I refuse to accept him being able to live the life that so many died for!” It was the first time she had gone on a tirade against any comrade, the first time she was considering disobeying Khimaria. She shook her head sadly, speaking in a strong tone. “I am sorry, but I can not let him live.”
She turned to walk away, to kill Xornon regardless, to accept her swift punishment that would have instantly followed after. However, blocking off the doorway was Xzaar, holding a look of high importance. "Excuse me ladies but I have a confession to make it was I who sired Xornon and told him to retreat in the 1st place"
Her whole body fell numb, Yuri unable to even blink at the wave of confusion that had came. She was completely befuddled, a coherent thought impossible. In a minute, she regained her bearings, sharpened nails down to her sides. “Xzaar, perhaps I did not hear you properly? Care to repeat yourself?”
“It was I who sired Xornon and told him to retreat in the first place,” repeated Xzaar confidently.
Yuri held a deceptively calm expression. “Oh…that is what I thought,” Hands reaching out, she started on an instinctive attack on Xzaar, Khimaria managing to grab her feet away. Squirming in her hold, Yuri let out a frustrated shout. Exhaling very slowly after, she glared spitefully to Xzaar. “Why would you do such a thing? Why would you allow him…permit him to run?”
Shaking herself loose, Yuri glowered towards the earthen ground. Head snapping up, her hazel eyes drilled into the ceiling thoughtfully. “Forgetting the earlier scene momentarily…tell me, do you think the spring would not have dried up after all these years?”
Xzaar chose to respond. “Possibly…but what does that have to do with anything?”
“Good,” Yuri arched a brow. “I believe I’m going to go drown myself. And,” She started in a dangerous tone, still in an abnormal rage. “Not unless one of you is on fire, and I am the only possible being in this mockery of a world that is able to extinguish you, I am NOT to be disturbed!!”
Waiting for no reprimand or a response to her question, Yuri marched out the room, bumping into Xornon as she did so. Grabbing his shirt, eyes filled with anger, she pushed him into the closest wall, hands gripping tightly onto his bloody shirt, fangs bared. She soon sighed, knowing she couldn’t do a damn thing, knowing she wouldn’t in any case. Her head lowered distraught, she only able to stare down to his shoes and let out a low mumble. “Tell Khimaria about your earlier wounds. She will most likely be able to reduce the time of healing.”
Releasing him reluctantly, Yuri dragged her steps deeper into the cavern, soon stopping at the entrance of a steaming underground pool. Stripping off most of her attire, she dove in, allowing herself to sink to the bottom broodingly.
--mind trip—
Simone peddled her feet in the illusionary pool of her mind. Curious at the bothered Yuri, she asked. “What’s wrong, body snatcher? World isn’t all sugar and dreams?” Yuri made no immediate comment, keeping her head buried beneath the water, Frowning, Simone slipped into the pool, yanking her head up after a brief hesitation.
“What is it you want?” snarled Yuri bitterly, slapping away Simone’s hand from her hair.
“I want to know what the hells up. I may not like the ‘sharing of my body’ bit but it is still my body so if you’re all angry…” Simone fiddled with her fingers, glancing down awkwardly. “I at least want a heads up considering I can’t do anything.”
Shining a fang vigorously with her tongue, Yuri crossed her arms in scrutiny. “Read my mind, literally.”
“I did,” grumbled Simone. She shrugged. “Some interesting parts but I notice some parts are…off-limits?”
“And for good reason,” said Yuri, in a final sort of way. “But I mean previous events, things that have just occurred,” Simone approached her apprehensively, Yuri breaking into a smile. “Please, I don’t bite…”
“Much.” finished Simone, placing a palm to Yuri’s forehead. A minute later, the process complete, Simone swam back a few steps. “I don’t even know where the hell to start. You brought a guy to my house?! Why would you…god, now mother has something to gossip about,” She groaned frustrated, smiling shortly after in annoyance. “No, but this is the best part. You killed Carlos, the local drug dealer. I’d hope nobody from his gang or any rival gang saw that. If the former saw, they would be out for your blood and if the latter saw, they’d be able to brag that some crazy b*tch,” She started to laugh despite herself. “Some crazy b*tch kicked him in the nuts and her guy friend crushed his face,” She started to laugh to tears at the thought. “God damn, that’s priceless!”
Getting a hold of herself, she grew solemn. “Though, I don’t like this killing spree you’re going on…it’s not cool,” Yuri didn’t seem to give a damn what she thought of it, Simone making a face. “At least tone it down to one victim a week, you can’t be all psycho bloodlust ‘killing every man you see’ crazy. Speaking of men…” Simone blinked innocently. “Who’s orange eyes? Ya know, face stomper, escort, etc. Throughout your memory, his name didn’t come to mind. Who is he?” pondered Simone.
Rising out the pool, Yuri held a hand in the air, responding coolly. “In a word, lucky.” Snapping her fingers, she exited the mind of Simone.

Breaking the surface of the immeasurably hot water, Yuri shook water from glistening raven hair, paddling back to the ledge of the pool. Finding nothing to dry off, she threw her clothes over her wet form, strutting back in the direction of the tombs.
Not even out the room containing the spring, this time, she bumped into Xzaar. He looked her over with relief, Yuri hiding her amusement with a raised brow. “I hope you did not think I would really drown myself…I at least have to kill half the human population before I’m satisfied enough to die.” Patting him lightly on the shoulder, she gave a smile. The grip on his shoulder changed from light to vice-like. “By the way, you or Xornon still must explain why such an action was committed. Find me when you have an explanation.”
Making her way to the tombs, once spotting Khimaria, Yuri said. “Please accept my apologies over my defiance at your decision. I temporarily lost myself…” finished Yuri, now holding a vague expression.
