Getting the ears lowered.

Have you ever heard the expresion of getting your ears lowered? Meaning getting a hair cut.

I finally had a much needed hair cut yesterday. I went from 5 inch long hairs to a buzzcut. I was wanting to grow my hair out long but I found out it likes to curl way too much when it's long.

yeah we used it in Norway as a reply to the obvious question.
coming out from the hair dresser "Have you cut your hair?"
" No I just lowered my ears 🙄 "

That's only because you don't know how to deal with it. You have to have it cut to handle the curl..which you guys never do..then you end up buzzing it all off. 🙄

My dad says "got my ears lowered" every time he comes from the barber. He thinks he's hilarious.

I agree with Dim - guys are so buzzy with haircuts these days. But then I guess I'm used to the hairball I live with...

people answer with
"no, the lawn mower caught me"

yeah, that's a pretty normal thing to say...although some ask ''did the lawn mower catch you?'' instead🙂

I'm in desperate need of your advice then Dim because Mrs.MM has convinced me to let my hair get longer than its been for ages. Mine goes all curly and I hate it, I usually have it really short so its no hassle.

Mrs.MM thinks it'll look all cool when a bit longer but I keep telling her it grows outwards and not down! I look like Sideshow Bob for Christs sake. 🙁
