"Uhh i no, i no." Adalaide said excitedly as she ran off to her room. By the time i got up to follow her she was back with another game. "Twister? uhhmm okay," i agreed "you and pj can go first." "Noo, i wanna go with you."She said. "Okay, Okay." i said as we started to clear the carpet to set the mat out. "okay pizza should be here at 830 so we have like half an hour," Pj said coming into the den, "uh oh what are we doing now?" "Me and Blair are gunna play twister!!" Adalaide said as she handed the spinner to Pj "oh okay i guess im just not cool enough for you then am i, Adalaide?" Pj said starting to tickle her. She ran away screaming and laughing. Once we got her calmed down and ready to play she changed her mind. "I tink you and Bwair should play." she siad as she pointed to Pj. "Um okay you up for it Blair?" he asked me. "Well, i guess i should regain my pride from Monopoly, oh what the heck, sure." i said thinking about how much of a physical contact game this was and looking forward to it. We started opposite of each other and in no time are bodies were entangled together. He had one hand on the mat, and both feet at oppisite ends. But, it still wasnt as bad as me i had one foot on one dot and both my hands on the opposite side of the mat over his body. We eventually fell but who knows who fault it was. For the rest of the night we ate pizza, goofed around, and watched Blue's Clues. When we put Adalaide to sleep it was around 930 so we had atleast an hour and a half. I went over to the movie stand to see what they had. "Hey you want some popcorn while we're watching this?" Pj asked at the begining of the movie.
Pj came back in with popcorn, and 2 chocolate milks. (god, is it just me or is he perfect?) "okay ready, start the movie." So, we started watching Finding Nemo. The next thing i know someone is tapping me and trying to wake me up. "HEY, Blair, wake up Blair?," Pj said tapping me on the shoulder."sorry, its just your Aunt and Uncle are going to be home anyminute so im just going to go." I sat up trying to focus on what he was saying, but instead a huge yawn came out of my mouth. "uhhhuuuhhha, yeahh sorry about falling asleep i guess im still kinda tired from the time change." "Oh, no dont worry about it, remember if your ever bored here you can just come by next door im usually home." Pj said as he was heading out the door. "Oh okay sounds good. See you around." I got up and saw that the movie was stopped and put back in its place, the dishes were clean, and the room was back together. "Wow hes good" i thought to myself. I went to check on Adalaide, still sleeping. Good now i can get some shut eye, too.
The next week flew by. I remember getting up to the smell of pancakes on Friday. "Yum it smells good" i said as i stumbled out of bed and down stairs. "Oh well thank you,"Aunt B said i came into the kitchen." Okay so today i was going to go into town and maybe do some shopping wanna go?" I really am not a morning person. Okay so its like 11 late morning, whatever. "Umm, yeah sure sounds funn!" i said trying to sound enthusiastic. "what about Adalaide?" i said. "on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday she goes to day care so i can get some stuff done." Aunt B told me. As we were leaving the house i was in a pink ruffle tanktop, jean skirt, and flip flops. We went to almost all the shops here, I got lots of new tops and bathing suits. After we had gone by and picked up Adalaide at 4 my feet were killing me, and i was ready to go home. "oh hey Blair could i get you to take this over to Pj," Aunt B asked. "its his money for babysitting?" "Yeah, sure." As i was headed over there my stomach started turning into knots. Calm yourself..calm..breathe i repeated in my head. I rang the door and a pretty, blonde, curly haired, girl about my age anwsered. Oh god, "Um is uhh Pj here?" i asked nervously. "oh yeah, sure thing come on in." the girl said. "Im Anna, by the way, im this things twin sister. You must be the Marble's neice, nice to meet you." She siad flicking Pj as he came down the stairs. "Yeah, thats me, but you can call me Blair." "Okay, see you around."then she walked into the other room. "Hey Blair whats up?" i held out the envelope with the money in it. "Its money for babysitting the other night. They wanted me to come give it to you since they didnt have a chance to before." "oh okay, well tell them thanks," he siad as we stepped outside and he shut the door beside us. "and if you arent doing anything tomorrow night my parents are going out of town, and a few of my friends are coming over you wanna come?" Yes, yes, yes, yes,and YES. "Umm, ill see what im doing and call you, whats your number?" i said trying to play alittle hard to get. "Here he said as he grabbed a pen and wrote it on my had...6418144. Okay, its the day of the party, and I got to get outfit, call Pj, and make sure i can go. I thought to myself as i was watching Adalaide on the beach. i had layed out almost everyday this week, i swear its the only thing to do around here. Well, it prolly would be different if i had a car! "Hey Adalaide, come here," i yelled "your face and shoulders are looking kinda red we better head in, so you dont get sunburned." I started gathering my stuff and shaking out the towels. "But, im still having fun!" Adalaide insisted. "Im sorry Addy, but im not allowed to let you get sunburned. Now, here take the towel dry off and we will go make milkshakes inside. Sound good?" "Yeah i guess.." she said as she stomped away. Inside, i asked if i could go and i can. So, i decided to call and tell PJ. "Hello?" i heard Anna say. "Hi is PJ there?" "No hes not. May i take a message?" "Umm no ill call back later." "Okay,..wait is this Blair?" "uhh yes?" "This is Anna, i was wondering were calling to say you were coming tonight?" "Yes, i was." "Okay good, and i no you dont know alot of people down here, so i was wondering if you wanted to come over early and get ready here? the boys are all going to one of their houses before so we will have the place to ourselves wanna join?" "YEAh! id love too" "okay see you around 8. bye" "Bye." then we both hung up. Later that night i asked to go over early and i could. When i was going threw my closet to try and pick out my outfit i had no idea what to wear. I didnt no what they whore to events like this. I packed about 4 different outfits and went over to the Watson's house. i rang the door bell and waited for an answer. "Hellooo, how can i help you?"said a cute guy who was tan had blonde wavy hair and green eyes. "Umm is Anna here?" "Yeah sure,"he said in his southern accent, that most everybody had here, as he yelled up to Anna. "Im Crain, adn its a pleasure to meet you." He said as he stooped down one knee and kissed my hand. I dont think i have ever blushed more, and just then Pj comes around the corner. "Hey Blair!,"He said making his way over to me to give me a big bear huge, and ofcourse i hugged him back. Its kinda fun to see guys falling at your feet for you, not that i still wasnt blushing. "Hey, are your cheeks okay they look red?" Oh god, gulp. "Oh uhh i guess i got too much sun today."i said trying to cover them up with my hands. "No, no, it looks good. Your turnin into a real southerner." Up in Anna's room i had the girls, Anna, Paige, Caroline, and Catherine, help me pick the best outfit, and i lent a couple of shirts out for Paige and Cathrine to where. I ended up in my black halter, tight jeans, knee high boots, and i let the girls do my make-up.
When we came downstairs it was a full on party. There were people everywhere. I was walking threw the room and i could feel the eyes burning on me. I walked by Paige, a 5'6, totally gorgeous, blonde, and girl eyed girl, PJ came up beside her and wrapped his arm around her. He obviosly didnt see me, i thought. Then, i heard him say, "So, i see you have met Paige, my girlfriend." I stopped dead in my tracks. WHattt..how could he? Well, i mean its not like he lied to me, but still i thought we had something. Just then Crian walked up with a cup of punch. "Hey! glad you could make it!" he said handing me the punch. "Thanks, hey are they really dating?" i said gulping down the drink, that gave me a rush of adrinaline. "Who? them," Crain said pointing to Pj and Paige. "Yeah, have been for a while now, why?" "Oh no reason, remember im new here i dont no alot about people yet." i said thinking about the punch and what other ingredients could be in it. "Oh yeah, sorry. So you wanna go meet some people from around here?" The rest of the night was a blast. I remember meeting lots more people, Crain flirting with me and me flirting back, and lots more of that punch.
The next day i woke up in my room around 12 with a pounding headache. Downstairs I found a note that said that they had gone to church and didnt want to wake me because i had gotten in late last night. Wow, i dont even remember coming in. Wait, i remember falling asleep at the party, how did i get here? There, also, was a number on my hand... I had a great time call me! 641-1841. "Oh God, i need food.
