For a few seconds she just stood there in awe. "I'v wanted to do that since the first time i met you." And with that he kissed me again, but this time it was a real kiss that lasted for a good 3 minutes atleast. "Wow," i sorta whispered as i looked down thinking about what just happened I was still in Crain's arms i looked back up at him, and simply smiled. "Im glad you finally did." And then i put my arms around him and even though i couldnt say what i felt i think he knew.
The rest of the bonfire kinda flew by becuase i was having such a great time with Crain and Anna. Though, when me and Crain would snuggle up i couldn't help but notice Pj giving us weird looks. But, why should he care about me and Crain he has Paige, right? After the bonfire Anna asked me if i wanted to stay over with her and Paige and she told me that she was going to get Pj to invite Crain and Devin, who is Anna's new crush, to spend the night with him. I called home and they said i could. So, Anna, Paige, and I were now in her room deciding what to do now. "So, whos this Devin guy he looked pretty yummy from afar." I said to Anna who was braiding my hair, while, Page sat on the other end of the bed watching tv. Devin was not the tallest but tall enough he had light brown hair with brown eyes and pretty tan he actually was cute in a cute puppy dog way. "Yeah, he is. But, Im not sure if i like him. Hes just fun to mess around with." "Oh theres my Anna, the hoe. Hahaha, im just kidding Anna. Your not a hoe!" "-oh you no what we should do when the guys get here?" "-huh?-" paige and i said at the same time. "play 7 minutes in heaven!"
We were all sitting in a circle in Pj's room in akward silence waiting for someone to start the game. From left to right it was Pj, Paige, Devin, Anna, Me, then Crain. "Oh hell, ill start." Anna says grabbing the bottle. When it was finally my turn, Paige and Pj, Anna and Devin had already been in the closet. I spun and hopped for the best. Uh oh, i think as the bottle comes to a slow stop on Pj. I was mortified i didnt no what to do i just sat there lookin from the bottle to Pj. Pj got up and came over to help me up. As we were walking out of the room i look over to Crain. He looked really dissapointed, so i tried to give him a reasuring smile. But, in a way, i was kinda glad he looked dissapointed because it meant that he really did like me. Though, i couldnt help but feel abit of excitment and nervousness that i was going to be in a small clost all alone with Pj. "Uhhh.." i mumble in akwardness as we enter the closet. Pj didnt waste anytime he came right at me with his hands on my hips and his body pressed against mine. "No...no..I just..cant.." i say pushing his hands off me while i hit the back of the closet. "It just that you have Paige and im sorta with Crain now-" "Shhhh.."Pj buts in puttin his finger on my lips to get them to stop talking, but it didnt make him slow down any. The next thing i no im making out with the hottie from next door! "You cant deny that you didnt feel something between us, Blair. I know i felt it the first time i met you." He said after about a minute of kissing. I looked down, I honestly didnt no what to think anymore. I had to get away. I ran out of the closet wipping my mouth and straight into the bathroom next door. My knees felt weak, my head was spinning out of control, and my heart felt like if it beat any faster it would burst, but it sure wasnt slowing down. After i washed my face with cold water i felt better then there was a knock on the door. "Hey Blair?" i heard
Pj say. "come on out Blair. I wasnt That bad was i?" I opened the door and couldnt help but laugh. "No.." I say as we start walking back down to the room. We both know that noone else can know what happen. "It will be our little secret.." Pj whispers into my ear then gives my arm a squeeze before we enter the room and split up to sit down. I sit next to Crain and Pj next to Paige. I see Anna eye me suspicsiouly, but i dont care because suddenly i no what im going to do.
The rest of the night was much more fun! I only went into the closet once more, but it was a different experience this time. "Iv been dieing out there for us to end up in here together." Crain says as he comes closer and starts nuzzling my neck with his hands slowly creeping to the inside of my shirt. "Whoa, whoa," i say as a stop his hands and he backs up. Thats why i like Crain more that Pj, i realize. Because he listens to what i say and acts liek he cares about what im saying."i dont even no where i stand with you" "Well, i like you. And by the signs you have been giving me i think you like me too, right" he says kinda looking nervous about my anwser. But, i dont say anything. Instead i stand on my tippy toes, grab his shirt, pull him toward me, and kiss him with all my might right on the lips. "Well! id take that as a yes!" Crain says coming up for air after awhile of making out. The next morning the girls and I beat the guys down to the doughnuts, so we start chowing down. As were eating Crain comes up and gives me a kiss on the check then goes and sits with the guys on the couches. Later i went home. I took a hot shower and thought about how great my summer was going so far. This mornings my first day of work, whahoo, i think to myself as i rally myself out of bed at 7 oclock. "Hey Addy," i say as i see Adalaide sitting at the breakfast bar eating cereal. She gives me a wave back. "Oh yeah, my friend Crain is going to give me a ride to work. Im sorry i meant to tell you earlier but i guess i got side tracked, is that okay?" I say to Aunt B while shes cuting up a bannana to put in my cereal. "Oh yeah sure thatd be great. But, whys he giving you a ride does he work with you?" "No, but down the street at some surf shop. He has to get there at 8:30 so he said that he could just give me a ride. but, ill still need to be picked up at 12 unless i find a ride." "Oh okay sounds good." Aunt B says giving me a kiss on the check as i leave the house. We arrive at Bluegill and i dont see anyone around. But, before i could get over to the kitchen door it swings open and guess who comes out whistling. "Heyyy, Blair. You must be the new girl Miss Lindsay was talking about." Pj says walking over to me. I nod my head. "Ah, well come with me." he says putting his arm around my shoulders and guiding me into the kitchen and through a room marked 'Owner'. "Here Miss Lindsay, i think iv found our rookie." And i see a young, pretty, brown haired women turn around. "Oh good, i was wondering when i was going to see you." she says then motions me to sit down and tells Pj he can go.
"Around here we dong assign a permanent person to a table group or to be hostess. We trade out every two weeks." Lindsay says as she shows me around and describes the table order."First since your new this summer im going to let Anna help you your first time being hostess." When the store opens im very glad to have Anna helping me because i keep getting mixed up about what table are in what groups and which ones are taken or open. But, over the next 2 weeks i eventually got the hang of being hostess. Though, it wasnt getting anyless akward between me and Pj. But, i was glad he was there because there was something about him, like, i could just relax around him. I felt so comfortable about asking him for help if i was connfused or lost. Then again, i was dating Crain, and he still had Paige. So, there was no chance of us ever hooking up. Though, sometimes i think about what it would be like if things had ended out differently. Crain was still picking me up every morning, and im glad because i think i really like him, too. "Hey Miss Lindsay," i say when the last customer leaves at noon and my shift is over. "am i going to be a waitress next week or what?" I start collecting the papers and organizing the hostesses podeum at the entrance of the resturant. "No, Im letting Anna be a waitress and you can try being a hostess all by yourself. Think you can do it?" She says helping one of the guys clear of a table. "Yeah, sure!" i say, as I am actually excited. I look up from the podeum and Crains sitting in his car waving for me to come out and join him. I feel myself smile and my whole body is tingling with anticipation to go meet him. I usually get picked up or get a ride home from one of the guys here, because Crain works untill 1. "Oh, uhh...Miss Lindsay I'm..uh..done. Bye!" i say grabbing my stuff and rushing out the door. But shes go busy with whatever shes doing she doesnt even look up. "Yeah, okay. See you Monday!" she says. I get out to the car and give Crain a kiss then run to the other side to get in the front seat. He leans over and we start kissing. While were kissing it takes all the doubt about him out of my mind. "Uh, oh." i look up to see that Pj had pulled up beside us. "Naughty, naughty!" I could feel my face turning bright red. And my chest starts beating like mad. What the hell was he doing spying on us like that, i think to myself, but really want to scream it at him. "Sorry yall, i was just suppose to come and tell yall that Blair's got to come in tomorrow, Saturday, to help me with a birthday party." i wasnt looking at him, but i could see him smiling because he thinks its funny that he has embarrassed me. Well, i dont give him that satisfaction. I look him dead in the eyes. "Oh, okay well thanks. See you then." i say coldly then turn back to look straight ahead. After that he says bye to Crain then drives off. "Are you okay?" Crain asks as were driving down the road. "Yeah, GREAT!" i say taking his hand that is not on the steering wheel. "but, whyd you pick me up? i thought you had work?" "I have something special to show you!" he says looking over at me with a smile that makes my stomach drop.
